A warm welcome from friendly and efficient staff. No waiting seated straight away and meal arrived promptly. Plate a bit piled high but tasted good.

After trying food at various locations, we found the food and staff here to be excellent. We highly recommend paying a visit, especially for the delicious Sunday lunch. The staff are friendly and very helpful.

The food was excellent and the staff was friendly, especially the manager. They even prepared a special dish of sausage and mashed potatoes for our dog. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back.

First time visir, initally for drink only but extensive menu caught eye. Food was delicious Steak and Guiness Pie with double cooked chips and generous servings of seasonal veg and gravy. The mexican fajita was also generous and delicious. Happy hour from 4.30 to 7.30 with 10% off already resonable prices. Well worth a visit.

I was staying at the hotel opposite and decided to eat at Causey Arch Inn. Lovely friendly pub, staff very helpful. Varied menu at very reasonable prices. Portions were of a good size, slightly too much for me. Well presented dishes, deserts were reasonably priced and very well presented. I visited on a Wednesday evening, wasn't over busy just comfortable. Well worth a visit.

Describing this place as an inn may be a bit of a misnomer as it is actually quite large, with separate tea rooms, lodges, guest rooms, function rooms, and gazebos of various sizes that can be reserved for private events. The bars are well-stocked and the service is prompt and friendly. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, I was unable to sample the food, but it looked very appetizing.

The Causey Arch Inn is located in lovely countryside in Co. Durham close to the Grade 1 listed historic Causey Arch set in a beautiful deep wooded gorge. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the menus for lunch and dinner are extensive, and the food of excellent quality, with generous portions. We arranged a group lunch for 14 and were given a warm welcome and looked after very efficiently.

Called in after visit to tanfield railway for Sunday lunch. We were told there was no children’s menu available and that my 3 year olds Sunday lunch would be the same price as an adults. I asked the waitress to double check that and she then came back with a different price. A very limited selection of soft drinks. Our drinks order came out wrong and the waitress let out a loud sigh while walking away to correct it. No mustard available to go with roast beef dinner, no toilet roll in the ladies toilets and mould on the wall in the men’s. Stayed in Beamish Park Hotel across the road 4th -8th August 2022 and after a day at Beamish Museum first day fancied a meal and drink How amazed we were with this place. Super friendly staff making all 4 of us really welcome.The meals were freshly prepared and extremely well presented.Cooked to perfection and served all together so we started and finished as a family.Even the local regular people made us all feel welcome and joined in conversation with us.This place was so good for the next three nights of our stay at the Beamish Park Hotel after a days outing we returned to the Causey Arch Inn to have evening meals and drinks, it was that good, the meals were outstanding and as always we w...
