"A recommendation from our “hostel father” and to put it bluntly, we didn’t regret following her. On the way there, if you can do it on foot, you walk through the beautiful old town of Turin. The alleys/streets are narrower here, but that doesn't detract from the splendor of the buildings. The Casa Martin restaurant also benefits from this. It was too cool for us, but we looked with a little envy at the tables that stood in an arcade. Sitting there, you would literally feel all the splendor and former wealth with a view of the inner courtyard of this palazzo. But the rooms inside are also very nice, also because they have a slightly rustic touch. This comes from the huge wooden ceiling, the support beams of which were demolished in such a way that the residents of the floors above can also live without fear. Traditional but elegant location, I really liked the possibility of choosing wine directly from the bottles on display. There were 2 of us and we both had a first course, dishes well made without frills and really very good.
