Lovely coffee shop bistro. Good coffee, good scones. Dog friendly. Friendly staff. 10/10.

During our visit with family, we enjoyed an amazing meal at this restaurant. Thomas and the team provided exceptional service, the food was incredible, and the staff was extremely attentive. Thank you very much - we will definitely be returning soon.

Amazing food, atmosphere and lovely staff. I cant recommend Cargills enough! It's amazing. I would add that if you are curvy then the chairs inside might be a little uncomfortable (see pic) but there is seats outside and in the gazebo which don't have restricting arm rests. This restaurant is truly incredible. The menu is outstanding and the staff is attentive without being overbearing. The pan fried liver was cooked perfectly and my friend thoroughly enjoyed his fish dish. The food and service were both fantastic, and I will definitely recommend this restaurant to my family and friends. We are visiting from Glasgow and staying at a hotel nearby. The outdoor setup is excellent with strict Covid procedures in place, including hand sanitiser, wipes, and tissues on each table. The staff's big smiles can still be seen under their face masks. The crab salad starter was light and refreshing, and the beer battered haddock and chips were outstanding, with incredibly soft fish. A tempting selection of cakes was also available. Don't miss out on Cargill's Sunday roasts. Highly recommended.

LOVE CARGILL'S Everytime we are in the area we always visit the bistro, even when we are in Perth we travel in to Blairgowrie before doubling back and home to Edinburgh. The food is fantastic, as are the staff, nothing is ever too much bother. I love the variety of the scrumptious food and the cocktails are amazing !! We recently spent time in Blairgowrie for my partners 60th birthday and wouldn't have considered spending it anywhere else other than CARGILL'S. The staff were all very lovely *BUT* We went for the Sunday roast since it was Sunday and unfortunately were very disappointed. It was £16 a plate, we got 1 roast potatoe in half, half a carrot in quarters, a small portion of cabbage (not quite dessert spoon sized) and a small/medium chicken breast with not enough gravy. There was also something called scurly but we didn't care for it. As I say the staff were wonderful and perhaps the other food would have been worth our time. But their Sunday lunch needs a lot of work, especially for £16. Voir le carte
