We were given a seat through the back where some lo als were sitting not eating but just taking up space. The tables were dirty and the menus had food spilled on them and the placemats stuck to the table.... We made a quick escape and lived to fight another day"

Met here as a midway point for a lunch get together. The pub was quiet with the chef doubling as the bar tender! We all enjoyed a lunch, a very cheesy mac and cheese, boar and chorizo burger, and steak pie. Honest pub grub at a reasonable price, what’s not to like. Voir le carte

Popped in for food and was told the chefs car had broken down and they werent serving food, staff were sat down and chatting and weren't even interested in serving customers. Not exactly the best atmosphere or the most friendliest of environments certainly not going back even for a drink

Fantastic traditional pub. If you 're after twice cooked chips with garlic and truffle aioli then don 't bother, but if you 're after tasty homemade food then this place is a real gem. Hearty portions at an unbeatable price. My parents thoroughly enjoyed their mac and cheese and being vegan, I opted for lentil soup with a side of chips delicious!
