restaurant closed, cancellation came 15 minutes before reservation

Best starting products meet an ingenious cook and are rounded off by a top service Boathouse. We slept through all the appetizers... that I call creative perfection!

delicious food. The cook serves the dishes personally. Great! Unfortunately, the portions are small but very expensive. Without appetizer and only from the main dish, you will not be tired. Operation is very friendly, but sometimes too slow.

-very warm welcome- young, dynamic, efficient team- chef/ owner on site- menu: selected choices and straight to the point- nicely presented, light, delicious food- if you want the chef table/ chef menu, you have to book before 4 pm!!- Nice wines, limited in red choices- very nice place for an enjoyable dinner-open kitchen- bright place with tasteful decorIt left such a good impression, that we spent half an hour to write the review! :)

We tried to get a table several times as we had a voucher for this restaurant. Two times they cancelled the reservation without stating a reason one hour before the meeting, another time we couldn't reach anyone via phone nor did we get an answer via email.They refused us to speak to the owner several times, and denied to refund the voucher.Moreover it was impossible to get someone on the phone who was not speaking in broken Englisch or German.I still hope to get my money back! service has remained exceptional positiw in remembrance, no 08 15-handling. the waiting period was sweetened by very tasty baguette with curry dip. the chateubriand was exactly on the spot, very delicate and very taste-intensive. we once had sweet potatories and normal Frenchries, which were good (normal) to very good (sweet potatories). the ambiente and the location was great. the glasses an inspiration for their own device. the clientele was rather older and yupielike snobig. still 10 out of 10 possible points. at any time.

My boyfriend and I were looking forward to our anniversary weekend in Hamburg and booked boathouse after talking to a few friends apparently THE new restaurant in Hamburg, god were we wrong.Expensive and the food very average. The only very exciting thing was the bread which was very good and baked in house.Service, if there was any a complete disaster. The chef was trying too hard to take orders and cook at the same time. Maybe he should consider to leave the service to the waitress and prepare the food instead. It was such a shame, the restaurant looked very lovely and it had a great atmosphere for a Friday night but the slow service & average food did unfortunately only disappoint.We won'...

at our visit on 23.12.2015 we asked ourselves when we entered the noas that only a few tables were occupied, why we are now clear. the recipe rather lustless the service at the table was quite indifferent and slowly our order was taken up and we got brot in advance with dip the bath was good that was a type brot wam and fresh the other sorts cold and dry we waited about 40 minutes for the two main dishes. the mother was ok my dry old steak was totally salted and sedentary at a price of 34,- euro an absolute nogo notification of service: if the steak was a bit too salty, we are sad and we cannot look into the steak. that is true, but noas would have a better quality and would not sell such a...
