"I met the Scotsman's mother and sister here for dinner before attending a Scottish Heritage show. The service was incredibly friendly, quick, and efficient. We ordered a meal for four, which included two servings of pan-fried chicken served over mashed potatoes, topped with onion rings and a peppercorn sauce. It was quite flavorful and served in a moderate portion size. We also ordered mac and cheese, which came with fries and coleslaw, and it was a massive portion. The fish and chips were similarly generous in size. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and even decided to order dessert. I had a waffle with ice cream, along with chocolate cake and Galloway Creamery ice cream for the table. We definitely left well satisfied."

My husband Kenny and I went to the Fry-Day menu last night after he won a Facebook competition. The meal was delicious - he had the fish and I had the shrimp. I highly recommend making a reservation as it was very busy.

We came here this evening for our “last evening of the holiday” meal not expecting much apart from knowing it was dog friendly. Debbie and the rest of the crew were and are incredible, our girls (both human and canine) were fussed over so much with little treats being given to all 3 ? our food was spectacular and the chocolate fudge cake was to die for! 5*s doesn’t do this place justice!!!

Honestly, we only stopped by because we needed the restroom and were hungry after a long trip. We didn't have high expectations... but we were pleasantly surprised! This charming little restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere. A friendly blonde girl welcomed us and happily answered all of our questions. We ordered paninis and chips that were delicious. The chips were incredibly fresh and melted in our mouths, made with homemade potatoes. This place was a hidden gem and definitely worth a visit! :)
