"We were a little cautious about meeting friends here for dinner, but they live reasonably close and have eaten there often and sang its praises. It's the only restaurant that I have ever been to where the lavatories have showers - the facilities are shared with the golf driving range.Service was courteous with a light touch, there was a reasonable selection of wine by the glass and the food was good. Deserving special mention was a starter of carpacchio with a side dish of chanterelles fried with bacon and cherry tomatoes. The food is not showy, just good basic Italian at good prices."

The food & the ambience is great. But what was lacking in the service was after the waiter bussing out the plates nobody come to ask if we like dessert or hot drinks. Aside from that the waiters were more noisy than the guests-:(

La nourriture l'ambiance est excellente. Mais ce qui manquait au service, c'était après que le serveur ait sorti les assiettes, personne ne vienne nous demander si nous aimions le dessert ou les boissons chaudes. A part ça, les serveurs étaient plus bruyants que les invités

We had a good typical Italian starter, and fish as main course, we were with a gorup of 25 people, it's cosy and a bit nosy but apparently good value for money (I was invited).We had a nice white whine, the only remarkable thing is we asked coffee and coffee was served before desert, reason for us to get another coffee (and grappa)
