"Food was lovely But waited over 50 minutes for one starter which was only nachos. 2 tables came in 15 minutes after us . They received there starter and main meals before we even got our starter . As a chef I know it can get a bit hectic at times. But it was not that busy all we got told is we've just got a new kitchen fitted. Nachos does not take that long then waited about another 20 minutes for our mains. I have had lunch here before I could not fault it that's why I returned to have lunch with my mum but sadly very disappointed. Not sure if you have new management that has taken over if so they need to sort out the service , and how you managed the check that goes through for the Chefs . Again I couldn't fault the food but the waiting time was very poorly."

Stopped in for breakfast, has one of the most comprehensive breakfast menus in the area at a reasonable price, food was good quality and was juce and hot. I would certainly eat here again. Service was also very good.

Small friendly little restaurant in Leven serving burgers, pasta and pizza. Along with more traditional things such as fish, steak pie and scampi. Food is cooked fresh and you can see the kitchen which is good. Food was first class in terms of quality (I had a burger and my wife scampi) and portions were generous. Prices good and the staff friendly sooverall an enjoyable experience!

"I had always heard good things about this restaurant, but I had never eaten here until last night. I have been to various restaurants over the last few months, which have left me grudging the price of food for the quality received. However, I would fully recommend anyone to come to the Bonnybank Inn! There were four of us with two of us drinking pints. Each of us had a starter, a main course, and a dessert, all of the food was fantasic in terms of taste and quantity! For the first time in a while, my wife and I have left a restaurant completely satisfied with the whole night and happy to go back any day! We even took home leftovers! "Edit: Had takeaway from here the other night and found the food, particularly the papaya salad, wasn't as good or spicey as it used to be.. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, but sure hope they've not had a change in recipes (in response to the living crisis perhaps? or chef, as it'd be pretty disappointing if so... Hope they see this... What a pleasant experience we all had last night! Lovely food, lovely presentation, and friendly staff who went above and beyond for us. Absolute hidden gem this place is, and we all look forward to coming back. : PS: some of the food is so damn spicey. Please do not change anything hehe! Was fun seeing my scottish friends dying from all that chilli :D hehehe"

"I called today to say that I was not able to book in advance as I am a support worker and wanted to eat a service user for something, so would be uncertain if I arrived. the staff on the phone was extremely helpful and said if I only gave them a bit, they would try to accuse us. I only called 20/25 minutes before the arrival. the staff and the service were absolutely fantastic. that was brilliant. After our meal I explained to the staff that I was very impressed how fast the food was served and I also heard another table saying how fast the service was. I will be absolutely back, we had a nice day here and I can't come back enough!"

"I ate here with a friend recently. Looks lovely inside. We ordered quockly and they fetched our drinks quickly too. Food took so long to come and there were only 5 tables in, including us. My friend had southern fried chicken, which he had to send back as it was raw in the middle. It returned some time later, having been cooked until the coating was black in some areas. Very unappetising. The Halloumi and roast pepper wrap which I had was basically a salt sandwich. Obviously halloumi is already salty and the roasted peppers were slimy, wet and had also been salted. It was so briney! The blond girl who served us was unsmiling, abrupt and made it very clear she was disinterested/disengaged from her job and us, not even making eye contact or saying common pleasantries like please and thanks. All in all, a poor experience and I would not return. Two stars are for the attractive interior and the other waitress who brought our drinks quickly."
