Alfredo Sue Silva's Cafe

Stopped here for lunch this was my first visit. Very warm welcome and a nice atmosphere in the cafe. The food was delicious and coffee as hot as I like it! Must come again and sample more of the delicious dishes on offer.

Great selection of meals and the special of the day is always quite special and a good option. Sue's Swiss salads are terrific. I had mine teamed with delicious falafel. Desserts are homemade and all very good as is the coffee.

We frequently visit Bexhill and were drawn to this cafe by the mouthwatering food showcased in the window. We were not disappointed. The menu offered a variety of delicious options that matched their descriptions. We will certainly be returning again.

How have I missed this little gem? Lovely restaurant with really interesting and yummy food. I had the tortilla and it was delicious. The puddings are to die for and although it was only my friends who tried them, I will definitely be back to try them myself. Nectarine crumble and custard. It's calling me back.

Went to Alfredo and Sue 's for lunch to today, had the special 'Spanish Roast Chicken with Mediterranean vegetables and Sauté potatoes, just wonderful, cooked to perfection. The Chicken was moist and the vegetables to die for!! Finished of the meal with Pistachio cake and ice cream while my wife had the Plum Crumble with cream. Yum! Yum! A Place to eat when you visit Bexhill.

We found this place by sheer accident and what a very pleasant surprise. We sat in the garden as it was a warm sunny day, it was very busy but the service was fabulous. We weren’t very hungry so chose to share the Swiss Charcuterie Platter which was really delicious. We’ll definitely return to have lunch…...the choices on the menu are varied, each one looked delicious. The coffee was also perfect.

What a gem of a place! An excellent double macchiato, followed by a delightful Spanish Tortilla fresh out of the pan. Well worth waiting for. This just had to be followed up by the daily special, Spanish Chicken with Roasted Mediterranean Vegetables and sautéed potatoes. Excellent value for money, all beautifully served with pride by the excellent staff (sorry forgot to get names). All in all, a lovely experience, and one we will definitely be repeating upon our return to Bexhill in the future. Wishing this establishment every success

I had noticed Alfredo Sue's several times and decided to try it out last week. I was impressed in every aspect. The value was great, the food was delicious with Mediterranean flavors, and they put a new twist on a traditional British pudding. The service was friendly and efficient, and the café was bright and cheerful (although the garden was not open during my visit). I will definitely be returning and recommending it to others. Additionally, the restaurant is located on the pleasant and slightly quirky Western Road in Bexhill, which is full of small shops, including butchers, bakers, and possibly even a candlemaker. It's rare to find these old-fashioned, lively, and pleasant shopping stree...

After visiting once before, we decided to dine at this restaurant again, feeling confident that it would be the perfect choice for today - offering tasty, healthy options in a lovely setting. I opted for the Swiss tart, which was filled with cheese and onions and came with a Swiss salad. I was delighted to see the variety of salad items on my plate, all expertly prepared and a joy to eat. Dining outside in the sun made the experience even more enjoyable. My husband, who had been recovering from a hospital stay and had a delicate stomach, was able to enjoy his first proper meal in two weeks.
