"I was in two minds to book for food here for 14 of us, but from making the booking and pre ordering the food with the very helpful Georgia and Billy (they even did a couple of boards of cheese and biscuits for us . To having the meal on the Saturday night it was all very good. The Tripp is a traditional pub with a great atmosphere and live music, and a fab outdoor space for smokers. On arrival we were looked after by Marie, who was exceptional, really attentive and going the extra mile for us, and Billy (the manager on that night , also great. Even though is was a packed pub the food was brought out quickly and cleared quickly, and it was really tasty, a great choice on the menu and we had most of it! Marie made sure we were ready for our next course to be brought out so we didn't feel rushed or waiting, perfect service. Recommended; the Tripp Fish and Chips, the Mutton Curry (a bit more sauce maybe , Chicken Burger, Halloumi fries, Breads and dips, Gurberburger (but only if you love peanut butter! the Soup, crab and marmite crumpets. The chips were the best I've had in a long time. The band that were on were very entertaining, there are bouncers around keeping a discreet eye on everyone and making it feel relaxed and safe. All in all a good night out!"
