A typical Viennese forest, friendly operation, but rather uncomfortable, Hendl now ok. 2 points deduction for the catastrophic parking situation before loading. The pitches are much too narrow, the same applies to access. This situation has planned a complete layman, which will be annoying to the customers who are approaching for decades, especially because there is no stopping at the big road (Ottobrunner Straße). By far the worst thing I have eaten this year so far! Have ordered online and let us deliver In Cordon Bleu was neither cheese nor ham, furry and absolutely unspoiled. The potato salad matchy the cucumbers also kind of spicy, tasteless, even the finished potato salad of Aldi tastes better. Also the cheap bag in which the food was delivered has not really helped everything cold or lukewarm and lappy... once and never again!

You can pick up your standard Wienerwald dishes here; the AIKs are better than bie nuggets at MacDo (which, however, is not really a challenge). But I don't think it's right. There are also a few tables for those who do not want to take their food home or to the office. The atmosphere does not invite, however, it is uncomfortable and not particularly warm. For a quick stopover to take a hendl or the like, it's OK, but no more.

What happened to the old Wienerwald? A fast food chain that also offers Hendl. In Unterhaching the branch is very small, most customers seem to only pick up their orders there. There are three tables, no more. All immersed in neon light, during our visit the restaurant door was open despite winter temperatures outside (probably so that you don't have any appetite for food anymore because of the sharp purer smell). Was ist bloß aus dem "alten" Wienerwald geworden? Eine Fastfood-Kette, die u.a. auch Hendl anbietet. In Unterhaching ist die Filiale sehr klein, die meisten Kunden scheinen dort Ihre Bestellungen nur abzuholen. Es gibt drei Tische, mehr nicht. Alles in Neonlicht getaucht, bei unserem Besuch war die Restaurant-Tür trotz winterlicher Temperaturen draußen offen (wahrscheinlich damit man nicht wegen des scharfen Reiniger-Geruchs überhaupt keinen Appetit auf's Essen mehr hat). Dazu läuft dann noch in voller Lautstärke der TV ... Also für Ambiente und Atmosphäre gibt's keinen Punkt. Das Essen ist ok aber nicht besonders.

Until the portion is finished, the hendl cools down noticeably and until you get home, it can be that the temperature is quite down and you can only enjoy a lukewarm hendl. Only the Pommes and then the Hendl and everything is good. If you only take a hendl, everything goes very fast and when you're home, everything is still hot....

Mit den Wienerwald Restaurants aus meiner Kindheit hat die Filiale zwar nichts mehr zu tun, der Qualität der Hendl tut das aber keinen Abbruch. Die Filiale ist eindeutig auf Abholung ausgerichtet, man kann aber auch an den wenigen Tischen in der Filiale essen.Die Abläufe könnten optimiert werden. Wenn man z.B. Hendl und Pommes bestellt, wird das Hendl schon eingepackt und die Pommes dann erst zubereitet. Bis die Portion fertig ist kühlt das Hendl schon merklich ab und bis man dann daheim ist, kann es sein, dass die Temperatur ziemlich abgesunken ist und man nur noch ein lauwarmes Hendl genießen kann.Erst die Pommes und dann das Hendl und schon ist alles gut.
