Waters Edge Bramerton

Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. We ordered sea bass, roast beef dinner and butler steak. It was the best steak I've ever had, tender and so tasty.

We dined at this restaurant on February 24th and found the food to be excellent and reasonably priced. The staff made us feel very welcome and I would highly recommend this place. We will definitely be returning next time we are in the area. Voir le carte

The staff is friendly and the restaurant is in a great location. The food is good, but the service is very slow and the prices are a bit high. We paid £21 for two slices of roast beef, which were admittedly very good. The main issue we have experienced on our recent visits is the slow service.

I cannot recommend the food we just had enough. We ordered the Valentine's set menu and every dish was outstanding and prepared perfectly. The lamb main course was particularly delicious. We will definitely be coming back soon, eager to sample more items from the menu. We have been enthusiastically telling everyone about this delightful hidden gem!

This is a very formal restaurant inside. Staff are not initially very welcoming and don't really look clean and tidy except for the bar staff. It's not really somewhere to go after a muddy walk for a chilled drink and snack. Moored our boat here overnight and booked in for dinner-we certainly weren't disappointed. Lovely restaurant and a beautifully set window table with river views. The staff were very friendly and helpful and added to the relaxed atmosphere. Lots of choice on the menu and an extensive wine list. My husband had the burger, which was excellent, and I chose sirloin steak-the best I've had in a very long time. Altogether a totally enjoyable experience. We're back in the area in a couple of weeks and we'll definitely be revisiting Water's Edge.

We went to this place twice 2 years ago whilst on the Broads and it was good. So good we went again this year, again whilst on the Broads. I really wish we hadn’t bothered. The food isn’t that good but very pricey indeed. The landlord/owner doesn’t know how to smile, awful attitude and demeanour. Ordered a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc at £27 and it tasted very, very average. Looked it up online and the RRP was £9.15. That’s a 300% mark up! Greed and more greed! All the owner is after is your money and it doesn’t matter how he gets it. Save yourself the money and go to the Ferry House at Surlingham. We moored here during our week on The Southern Broads and were treated very well from the beginning. Cookie local resident and character helped us moor up and we had a meal in one of the outside wooden pods that night which was perfect as we had two small dogs and it was raining The food was fantastic one of the best steaks I 've ever had. Locally sourced ingredients and a good choice. Loved the Lobster Crab menu also! We carried on but decided to return at the end of the week as it was my birthday again moored up during the day and had lunch booked an evening meal for the next night why wouldn 't you?!
