"great lunch on Saturday. Fortunately to go and manage to get a table for two in the busy family and dog friendly pub / restaurant. fabulous faggots mittagessen. Faggots crowned with crispy swashing, sitting on a bed of heart carbure, on the top of the beautiful buttery carrots, surrounded by a sea of magnificent red wine gravy. accompanied by wonderful uley bitter. too full to try the treacle tart that I would certainly have been wonderful! many parking spaces on the back behind what can be seen from tetbury road. the garden looks very worth a visit in summer!"

Paid a visit to the Trouble House for their Christmas Menu and was not disappointed. The food was amazing and the welcome warm and friendly. Service was excellent. The fillet steak was perfectly cooked and the starters (wood pigeon for me, salmon for my wife) were delicious. Highly recommend.

Visited with family one lunchtime during the children's half term. Children happily devoured their burgers and the adults loved their various menu choices. In fact, my son in law commented that his fish and chips were the best he had ever eaten! Coming from a Geordie lad that's praise indeed !

Had the most delicious meal yet again at the Trouble House. The food is always spot on and the service is efficient and friendly. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. I could have happily chosen anything on the menu but went for the Mediterranean Turbot form the specials menu. It was superb.

A charming country Inn with excellent food at fair prices. Superb service by Jackie and her team. We had a long business meeting startwith coffee and excellent home meeting cakes at 10 am. Followed by lunch. A wide range of food on the menu. All enjoyed both starters and mains. No room for the tempting deserts! A truly enjoyable experience.

Hands down the best Sunday lunch we have had in the area.. simply delicious! Lovely friendly welcome, good service and amazing Saltmarsh Lamb followed by Bread and Butter pud with marmalade and custard… exceptionally good value and we are headed back in a fortnight for more… we’ve tried every pub and hotel in the area and this unassuming place is the best by sone margin

We called last minute and were kindly squeezed in much to our delight and what a fabulous lunch it was!The food was amazing, we both had the pork and it was delicious. My husband has the marmalade bread and butter pudding and I had chocolate torte for dessert which were both fabulous. Have to say we have eaten out a lot but this was the best we’ve had for a long time! Well done to The Trouble House team and chef! Would definitely recommend!

We celebrated our Christmas lunch a tad earlier this year, Dec 16th to be precise, at Trouble House as we had such a wonderful Christmas meal there last year. It didn't disappoint! Great service to begin our visit, excellent spacing between tables too.Traditional Christmas choices, but simply delicious.Yes, its located a few miles out of Tetbury, but it has plenty of free parking so no problems on that score. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal.

"I had been in this pub for a while, but my family and I were on the way from cheltenham to Westonbirt at 17 o'clock and called for an early dinner. all four of us said that the meal was faultless, we enjoyed all three courses and cannot praise this place enough. such a great atmosphere, cordial greeting from the incredibly fabulous staff and a seat directly at the log tariff. what more can they demand. it is easy to find, beautiful location and has plenty of parking right next to the pub. in summer there is a large garden back. in februar this is the place to eat when they go to visit the colesbourne snowdrop gardens that are right in front of the house and not to miss. the menu at the colesbourne inn is huge and offers for everyone something wonderful, regardless of their taste or nutrition to choose. my calamari ‘Bar Bite’ size starter was superb and definitiw a greater part than we expected. the other appetizers, a black bell and black pudding with fried egg was superb as well as the bread selection we also ordered. mostly fish Pie....only full of a lot of different fish and whistle fish. my son had the steak and ale pier he claimed he was the best he had eaten in a very long time. two of us had the nut roast dinner.... I want my Christmas dinner to be as good as that. desserts of fruit crumbs and custard finished the meal with the obligatory glass or two of fizz. for each device in these times to offer this incredible selection of oriented, which is an absolute credit for them by the most kind of employees ever and the very high standards they did. highly recommended at any level possible. well made the colesbourne inn"
