"Excellent recommendation from the NH Parma staff. The prosciutto was incredible and the fried “gnocchi “ a new treat for us. The mixed salad was very good but the showstopper was the eggplant parmigiana. Certainly one of the best I’ve ever had. And the eggplant is NOT breaded as so many of us Americans are used to. But that’s why we travel! And why we go to the home of specific foods to experience them as they were meant to be."

Just what you want from Italian restaurants. Good quality ingredients used in traditional dishes for an acceptable price tag. The staff spoke neat English and the restaurant had a cozy family atmosphere.

Delicious food, very good quality at a fair price. Reservations don’t work well, you probably still have to wait to have a table. But it’s definitely worth the wait. Clean and spacious place, right in the city centre. They have vegetarian options as well. Recommended!

Dined here on our last night in Parma. Can confirm all the positive reviews. Had the Risotto alla Parmigiana, the Guancialini di maiale with grilled veg and spinach and, of course some Lambrusco followed by the Sbrisolona con zabaione. All very well presented and great delicious. Reasonable prices. Definitely recommended. Go early or try booking.

Great! Ordered dough balls, a selection of ham and salads, a selection of tortellinis, the pork shoulder in balsamic reduction with potatoes, spinach on the side, a chocolate panna cotta and an espresso finish. The service was brilliant. One of the best meals of my life. 60 € including water and tip. An absolute bargain. This place is really popular, come early when you can!
