"beautiful location, nice friendly staff, loved the doggy friendly atmosphere and relaxed bar area. we sat in the winter garden and eating was excellent, great menu and eating all served immediately. very reasonable and overall I would rate this pub as a great place to eat and drink very much. we met friends as halfway point. we'll make it safe again."

Such a great place!!! Really Dog friendly. The staff were very nice, even brought out a Sunday roast for my Dog!! Class!!

Staff couldn't do enough for you. They made a big fuss of my dog and gave her roast beef. The Sunday lunch was fantastic. Will be returning.

Last Friday of the month is band night, my first visit, stunning music, awesomebar staff, fabulously crowd, except that one idiot every village has. Hope to go,back soon for lunch.

Food was OK although it took 3 hours to have our meal. We weren’t in a rush, however this might be a problem for other people or those in a hurry. There wasn’t much to the prawns and the hake was somewhat dry. Overall however,...

Very poor meal... So disappointing. First course nice but small portion for £9. squid! Followed by very tough sirloin for £25.. My dog and the dog at the next table benefited. Eton mess.. Not much meringue and a lot of cream Didn't complain as this...

Lovely setting, nice pub. Shouldn't have to ask for the table to be wiped when you sit down. Food was below average, and overpriced for what it was. Didn't look terribly appetising. No one checked if our meal was okay until the plates were collected....
