"the second visit to this pub to stay overnight was not disappointed. excellent situation for the bus to york, cheaper and more relaxed to go to the bus that takes her car. the eating was great and the menu in the night was somewhat different than the normal pub bur, had special offers for the night. the rooms were comfortable, but they get a bit lärm when they leave the window open as it is on a busy road. a total worth a visit."

Awful food! Walked in and the smell of cigarettes hits you in the face! Went through to the restaurant and the place looked tired/dirty. Awful colour on the walls. Food was not good and will definitely not be going back

Nearby activities: Village of Escrick nearby and close to York with a bus stop very nearby, so easy to hop on and off to Designer outlet or York or Selby etc...
