"Visited with my Husband and Son. I do feel the menu needs reviewing. Husband had gammon, egg and pineapple, a slice of fresh would have been nicer, not tinned) However, cabbage and carrot mash is a no-no with this , maybe garden peas, grilled...tomatoes? I had Sunday roast, although very nice, I'm certain the roast potatoes were cooked in the microwave? They were extremely hot compared to the other food , which was almost warm. The menu has far too much to offer. Maybe reduce the options to allow the Chef to concentrate more on the meals . I.E. Sunday roast has to be the best in in the area, limit the menu to concentrate on this, definitely doesn't need two different types of Gammon. Because of the large selection I do worry if the food is frozen? Only a suggestion. On that note staff very attentive at all times, service maybe a little slow. I will be visiting again, it's definitely not put me off."

My partner and I often stop by the White Crow on our way home from work. The food is consistently delicious and honest, and the staff is always attentive. The White Crow has our thumbs up.

I always love visiting this restaurant. It never disappoints. The food is great, although the portions are a little small. Sometimes I feel a bit rushed by the staff, but they are very attentive.

Great service. Lovely food that was beautifully cooked but unfortunately we left still hungry as our portions were small. We will visit again though as the food was good. We will try different dishes next time and hopefully will be satisfied.

We have visited on 3 occasions and once again we could not fault the food or the service. The staff are very attentive and friendly and the food is great value. The toffee and honeycomb cheesecake is a must. Will definitely be back again soon.

Just had a fabulous lunch. Cheese and onion pie was amazing as was the Lasagne, plenty choice on the menu to suit all tastes. Nothing too much trouble for the staff, we will definitely be returning. Only complaint is I may have to go up...a trouser size

3 of us went in for a meal last Sunday but they were booked up, the waitress was very helpful and said if we had a drink at the bar she would find us a table in about 15 minutes but actually was only 10...minutes, the food and service was excellent at a reasonable price, we would definitely recommend and will return

I just left the white crow and dissapointed is not a strong enough word. my mother in law and I had both gammon it was inedible it was hard and extremely salty the carrots were rock hard not al dente so much. from my meal was left as my mother was put in. the waitress came by to ask, everything was ok I told her it was salty and tough she laughed said ok and went away .. we left without dessert we will never go back . the place needs a good clean and proper kitchen extractors of the whole place smelled of fish.

The service was efficient, but the usual automated greeting and cookie-cutter script was unimpressive. The extensive menu was overwhelming, and we were disappointed to find out they were out of a popular item. The wait for our order was longer than expected. Surprisingly, two standout desserts were from a bakery near Wigan. Our basic meal selections arrived on time but were only average. The portion of fish was small, and the chips were underwhelming. The chili was decent and the rice was good, but there were no extra touches to elevate the meal. The bill of £30, including a drink, was reasonable, but we felt the meal lacked any excitement or effort from the kitchen. Despite the restaurant's...

"After reading the reviews we was really looking forward to eating here ,however it turned out to be the worst tapas and worst service we have ever received . After waiting 10 minutes for someone to take our drinks order we then waited a further 30 mins to be served with what can only be described as toast with tasteless mushed up tomatoes on , this was inedible and hardly touched , a further 20 minutes on and we was served a single dish of chicken between two of us again this was very bland and resembled nothing like a original tapas dish more like a chicken korma again this was hardly touched . When I enquired as to where the rest of the food was I was told they was very busy . With this we decided to cut our loses and asked for the bill . Before leaving we tried to have a conversation with the manager who is also the chef to give some honest feedback ,however he wasn’t open to listening , he’s response was “it’s normal in a tapas restaurant to receive one dish at a time between two with a large gap between dishes wasn’t it explained to you that’s what tapas is “We felt this was a very patronising remark as we eat tapas on a regular basis and know this is definitely not the case . To matters worse there was people who came in after us with multiple plates and tucking in nicely to their meals . The manager who was obviously struggling to cope on a busy Saturday night should have just apologised and admitted our order had been overlooked . If you are looking for authentic Tapas with excellent service in Wigan go to Casa Carlos this place doesn’t deserve your hard earned money ."
