"We had booked a table for for Mother's Day for We didn't order starters, probably just as well as it took over minutes for our food to be served. The food was lukewarm at best. The side of cauliflower cheese had extremely...runny cheese sauce. We ordered dessert, however, after waiting for around minutes (with the waitress having chased it twice), we gave up. The organisation was shocking. The waitress was trying her best to help, but was hindered considerably by the lack of management. In all, we paid just under for the food and drinks, which was too much. Given this was supposed to be a treat for Mother's day, this was extremely disappointing and ruined the whole day for us."

avoid them... most lively atmosphere. Bar employees rude and lazy only interested in gangster friends. I'm downhill, what a shame. Beverage rounds same drinks each time, each price calculated.

We went for mothers day today. Very poor service. We waited one and three quarter hours for our food which never arrived, and no one could tell us when it was coming so we left. Not the mothers day we had planned

Sadly, I must add to the poor reviews below. Our Mother's Day experience was much the same, ie, minute wait for food after ordering, hard roast potatoes, watery sauce for cauliflower, another long wait for desserts, some of which were still frozen. I was...given money off the bill but would have preferred good service and good food. We had a similar experience the previous Monday. The food at the Wharf used to be great, with punctual service but something has gone seriously wrong here. Please McManus Taverns, sort this out. Voir le carte

Took my mum and dad for Sunday lunch for mother's Day. Not impressed at all. Plates were cold and food was luke warm. They took the food back to warm it up well that was a joke as the plates were still cold and food...was luke warm. Roast potatoes were hard and I had cauliflower cheese. I have seen thicker soup than the cheese sauce which incidentally tasted nothing like cheese sauce. My mum then decided to have a brandy only to be told they didn't have any. Really, a pub with no brandy. I felt sorry for the waitresses as they were rushed off their feet and we were not the only ones complaining. Will not be going back.

"we had read very good reviews about the green room, me and 2 friends who have not seen themselves for a few years decided to go for the afternoon. we telephoned, booked afternoon tea and paid our deposit 2 days before. when we arrived. the waiter took us on our table and said: “I’m sorry, but the system didn’t update, so they didn’t know that we wanted to go the afternoon.” that seemed very strange when they had taken the deposit from us 2 days ago! the waiter said we had to order from the normal midday menu. after we had eaten our salad! we wanted to order 3 coffees, I asked the waitress if we could order coffee, her answer was: “It’s difficult because I don’t have a pen!” I didn’t reply, there are only 3 coffees and cakes. I then asked about the bill that lasted about 15 minutes when they finally arrived, they had not taken the deposit we had previously paid, and the waitress said: "She must talk to the manager, I explained that I stayed 10 minutes on the parking lot, so she could be fast. When I asked her what happened to the bill she said, they must go into the bar and sort it with the manager. I was very annoyed by the lack of customer service, not only had they forgotten our afternoon, but had also accused the wrong crowd. he was quite arrogant and served other people and let us wait. he said he would take £11 for the mistake with the afternoon! it is a shame that eating and the environment is very beautiful. Unfortunately, the customer service makes this place so much down. it is safe to say we will never return or will not recommend it to one of our friends."
