"Absolutely terrible, avoid at all costs. Where do I even begin? We thought we'd try somewhere different for Sunday lunch. We booked, but there was no need. We were a party of five. The place itself looked nice, although very cold with no heat on. Even though it was April, it felt like winter outside. We ordered 3 specials - belly pork, one chicken dinner, and one duo of meats. We also ordered two soups, chicken wings, and Eton mess, all from the set menu. After a long wait, our soup arrived lukewarm and watery. The waitress asked if we wanted the Eton mess after our mains. The wings were good, giving us hope. However, after ordering at 5:30, our meals had still not arrived by 6:30. When we asked the barman, who had been out for a smoke twice in full view of customers, he said he would check but never returned with an update. After 1 hour and 10 minutes, my husband asked the other server for an update. We were told there was a problem in the kitchen and a new chef had to be called in. It was 7 pm by this point, and we asked for a full refund, which we are still waiting for. We left in disbelief and will never return, even if they paid us to."

I adore this pub! It's absolutely fantastic with lovely staff, a great atmosphere, and delicious food. I now visit Westacres regularly.

Nice pub nice atmosphere and surroundings. Bar staff extremely friendly especially the young lady who served me. Will definitely return.

Had an amazing time at the quiz on Thursday. Really fun and a nice atmosphere. Food came quickly despite it being relatively busy and never had to wait at the bar for a drink.

This is a great pub for pub food. The new menu is great loving the fries and the chicken bacon and avocado wrap was delicious We saw lots of other meals coming out all looked nice

Had my anniversary party at the westacres. Matt and the team couldn't have done a better job! The whole night and atmosphere was fantastic! The food was superb we will definitely be having another party here again soon. Thank you for making our night amazing

Excellent staff excellent service, can’t fault the team they are so friendly and attentive you can really tell they are dedicated to the pub. Food was fab as always and came quickly. Waitress checked back in with us to make sure everything was ok. Had desserts and coffees to finish off a great night overall.

We came to the pub primarily for the legendary quiz night which everyone should give a go at least once but now regularly eat there with friends. The staff are one of the friendliest teams around and happy to help no matter how busy it gets. The menu is typical pub food, there is a good selection so everyone should be able to find something they like. The portions are a good size making it value for money.

I have reviewed this restaurant before and it remains consistently excellent. The staff are incredibly friendly and competent. The manager is a charismatic presence who interacts with customers, which I appreciate. The beer and food are always outstanding and all customer needs are attentively met. The added bonus of allowing dogs, with snacks and water available, sets this pub apart from others. I can't praise this establishment enough and will continue to be a loyal customer as long as the management remains unchanged.
