The West House - Carte

During our time in Dundee, we visited this restaurant twice. The food and service were excellent on both occasions. The gluten-free menu and attentive service made me feel comfortable allowing my daughter to eat there. The food was delicious.

We popped in this morning for breakfast and really enjoyed everything from the coffee, the food and the service. The menu has so much to choose from and the staff so accommodating and friendly. We’d definitely return if we visit Dundee again!

My friend and I popped in here on Thursday night. We were going to the Rep so popped in for something light. The service, food and whole evening was amazing. The guys behind the bar were fabulous. The whole place and toilets were spotless, and I know for sure we will be back. Voir le carte

The friendly staff, inviting ambiance, and delicious food make this restaurant a standout in Dundee! I tried the macaroni cheese and garlic bread and it was amazing. The dishes were full of flavor and the overall dining experience was fantastic. I will definitely be returning!

I went here for dinner one night and we loved it so much we went back for breakfast the following morning!! The staff are so friendly and helpful. The menu has something for everyone and the food really is excellent! Cooked and seasoned to perfection, presented very well. This really is a place you should visit!!

We’ve just had two nights in Dundee and with two of the group gluten free you always have to be careful. The West House was fantastic! Great, chilled atmosphere, cool despite a ridiculously hot day and fantastic food. The staff were great efficient and on the ball but giving you space to just relax and enjoy the meal. Apart from the seats beside the toilet which was supposedly our only option since we hadn't booked, food was not to bad until the sticky toffee pudding came. Sickly sweet and suspiciously tin shaped, it spoiled an otherwise mediocre eating experience. Then, somehow, 4 other diners magically got better seats despite not booking either. Won't be back.

Ate at the West House the other night after getting a recommendation from the receptionist in our Hotel. She told us they served lovely pizzas and pasta and she was right! The pizza especially was very tasty and thin crust which we love. We also used the sun terrace earlier that day. It’s well set out with good seating and umbrellas and a bit of a sun trap. Prices were very reasonable and we had excellent service from Nick and Dan. Would certainly eat here again on our next visit to Dundee.

Friendly staff and a cosy atmosphere, yummy cocktails but average food. We came for dinner as a small group of girls after good recommendations. Very limited dinner menu, only really pasta or pizza options. I had a pizza and it was so thin it was basically like a hard tortilla. This allowed for little topping which ended up quite dry. It was fairly tasty but won’t be getting again. The menu was affordably priced, and there was a good selection of cocktails to choose from. Would still give this place a go for breakfast as maybe that’s its stronger area. Voir le carte
