"had lunch last night. I am always nervous to get a good pub lunch in the middle of the week, but I had no need to worry about here. the food was freshly cooked and we couldn't mistake it. I had lasagne that was delicious. my wife had rusted truthahn in huge yorkshire pudding, which was also on the ground. the bardame was a handful of drinks and table service, but always with a smile. as next to the gans eyebrowing means that the beer top notch was, so this is a place I will go as often as possible in the future."

First ever visit and I wonder why I have missed out on this delightful pub for so long. Extremely friendly staff and excellent real ales. Will definitely be back and next time will have some food too! :

spur der moment unplanned venture led us to the turkey inn. we ate a magnificent meal. sukkulent steak delicious chips and all circumcisions. the best zitze real ale I tasted in the old, but I live in the southwest today. excellent and error-free thanks x. (and the shoes fit!

6 of us plus the dog have just had a lovely lunchtime meal. They couldn't have been more helpful when our youngest son (11) didn't want to order off the kids menu, he wanted a steak but not all the extras they sorted it out and he really enjoyed it, surprising everyone by finishing it! Delicious food and lovely warm friendly welcome definitely one to visit again. Thank you

We took friends visiting from Ireland to lunch at this lovely, cosy pub/restaurant on the most bleak, cold, wet of winter days and were given a warm welcome, a table by a roaring fire and the most lovely food. I would say it was one of the best meals we have had in quite some time. Very friendly, welcoming staff. We will locally and will definitely be going back. Highly recommend. Vegetarian options: A good selection. Parking: Very easy to park in dedicated parking opposite.
