"Visited for a traditional British fish and chips and The Swan did not fail in the least. The fish was larger than expected, the mushy peas the right amount of minty kick, and the chips fried to perfection. Kids menu was also a hit with the little ones. Charming decor and central location in town, too. Would go back in an instant!"

Had a meal here whilst staying in the hotel, eating in the watercress room at the front. Very nice food, friendly service. Nice draught beers from the bar.

We had breakfast here while in a short break. My 10 year old son’s review said it all, “Breakfast at The Swan is the best” Nice menu, nice setting, great service and lovely food.

Stopped here for a drink before going on the Flying Scotsman as it is near the station. Nice friendly staff and good service. If we are in the area would definitely return. Very dog friendly place.

A lovely place to stay. The room, food, beverages and all the staff were excellent. It's in a lovely position with a heritage circular walk, and the watercress railway line all on your doorstep. All covid-19 measures are in place, and you feel safe there,

Went for a walk around Alresford and stopped here for something to eat on Sunday afternoon. They fitted us in under the covered outside area which has heaters so, very comfortable. Service was great, very attentive and Lau was very helpful. 2 children with us...
