Whether it be the baked potato with tuna or the lamb shank, the food was top notch, great beer, the reception and service was excellent, lots of smiles from the staff on hand,very relaxing, will definitely visit again, and very soon.

The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is fantastic. As someone who is lactose intolerant, I was pleasantly surprised to find a complete and delicious menu tailored for me. The chef even created a special potato dish just for me. Thank you!

We held a private function here recently. The staff were very professional from start to finish. The food was great, the room was perfect (well kept and decorated) and the outdoor area is brilliant for guests who smoke but still want to be part of the party. We walked in around 3:30 PM without a reservation and were promptly seated. The staff were incredibly friendly. We ordered a sharing platter that included roast beef, pork, and turkey. The roasted potatoes were absolutely amazing, as was the gravy. The vegetables, especially the cauliflower cheese, were delicious. I would definitely return!

I live in the village but this was my first visit to the pub. Superb food, served efficiently by very attentive staff. I cannot believe I haven’t eaten there before. My friend and I both had pie and chips, but with the vegetables etc the presentation was fantastic, with both of us saying it was the best we had ever had. Well done to the staff.

We received a warm and friendly welcome at this charming pub and restaurant. The food was excellent, but the service could use some improvement. We ordered wine when our main courses arrived, but it only came after we had finished our meal, which was a bit disappointing. I also noticed someone going to the bar instead of using the waitstaff. It could benefit from more attentive drink servers, but I can't fault the food—it was truly delicious. Voir le carte
