Lovely restaurant, excellent food. The waiter recommend we order starters and then consider main courses. A wise suggestion. We filled ourselves up with hummus, eggplant, wonderful crispy sardines, labneh, creamy date, moist falafel that we had no space for main courses. We sat outside under huge umbrellas. A great place, tasty food.

My first visit to the Spice Bazar will definitely remain my only one. I think it is unacceptable that a restaurant which after all speaks of a modern interpretation of the Orient and sees itself at a fork in cultures and traditions places clearly racist depictions of the Sarotti Mohr prominently and without context in the entrance area , from which Sarotti himself distanced himself 20 years ago for obvious reasons.

Insanely chic restaurant with a great ambience. The food tasted really good. Personally, I think the portions are much too big and will share something next time. So I think it would be better if the portions were a little smaller. The service was really very friendly and attentive. Only the waiting times were sometimes a bit long but the restaurant was completely full. All in all, a great concept and certainly great if you want to eat something unusual. Definitely coming back!
