"Two lovely lunches at The Six Bells this week. Stopped off on the way to a short break in Oxford and enjoyed it so much we repeated the experience on way back. beautiful location and the kulturburger was great! not too crowded and has a beautiful outdoor seating area and only enough parking for customers. we had a company coming together and it worked well.

the place is absolutely fantastic, friendly staff and really good eating. 12oz steak was good and perfectly cooked. sticky toffee pudding just as it should be. I would visit this place again, absolutely yes.

Went for Sunday lunch, ordered the duo roast which is £4 extra than the beef roast however you get less beef and a small portion of chicken which was extremely dry! Beef over cook full of sinew and only one slice given per plate, the beef roast is 3 slices so the maths doesn’t quite add up. Yorkie is massive but so dry and crispy everyone’s was the same so it wasn’t a one off looks great but no flavour and that sums up the whole roast no flavour no texture won’t be returning.
