Traditional pub on the outside and modern feel on the inside. Really tasty food served by very friendly staff. Excellent detour when walking Hadrian’s Wall.

The wait time to place our order was about 30 minutes, which was not ideal. However, when the food finally arrived, it was delicious. It was just disappointing that two of the desserts we wanted were not available.

I had lunch at this restaurant and the food was excellent. However, I did have to remind the staff that I had ordered the surf and turf, not just the steak. The service was very quick. I cannot comment on the ambiance of the restaurant, hence the rating. Voir le carte

Went on Friday 24th may, never been before but I hope to go back when up that neck of the woods, food is fantastic, I got fish n chips with mushy peas, the nicest food I have had for a long time, my son got a child's portion of fish and chips and loved it, my partner got the chicken parmesan and she loved it, the place is immaculate and really nice, the staff are lovely to, Highly Highly recommend coming here you will not be disappointed as it has a good atmosphere and really well priced. Multiple individuals recommended The Sally as a fantastic dining option, and we can confirm that they were right. The lamb dish was absolutely delicious (we wanted to take a photo, but couldn't resist diving in) and the fish and chips were impeccable. Our only recommendation would be to grill the mixed vegetables for a touch of caramelization. The staff were friendly and enjoyable to converse with, and they offer a great variety of beers on tap. While it's a brief walk off the Hadrians Wall path, it is definitely worth the detour.

Phoned to see if they had any availability and we were told there's a table available in 20min. We drove through to a pleasant village and pulled into the carpark there was plenty of space we went in and was greeted by a lovely lady and shown to our seats. Very clean and light venue we ordered the Sunday dinner I had the corn feed chicken and my lovely wife had the pork and beef we both enjoyed the meal also were pleasant surprised when we asked for mustard and it came in a little pot way better then a packet so we'll done attention to detail. we had dessert the sticky Toffee Pudding and the creme Brulee also a coffee each.
