We took the family here for a spot of lunch today. How have we never been here before?! Food was amazing hot and fresh and the staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back soon.

Visited for dinner and they were having a karaoke night. The food was lovely, served swiftly and tasted yummy! Service was great and the locals and staff were extremely welcoming and the karaoke was great fun. What a great friendly place!

This pub has a lot of personality and the staff are friendly. However, there are some issues currently. There are long waits for drinks and I also noticed delays with food. This place really needs more staff, and in this aspect it is not as good as The Old Walnut Tree, another Greene King pub just a mile or two away. Voir le carte

I made a reservation for Sunday lunch, but the staff seemed overwhelmed and we weren't attended to after we were seated. We had to seek out someone to ask a question, and there was a long line at the bar. We were informed there was a 1 hour and 15 minute wait on food, so we decided to leave. It would have been helpful to know about the wait before we sat down with menus.

We have been to the Rose Inn many times and is getting worse. We had visited for my sons birthday and it was the worse experience ever. Over an hour wait for our food , no advance warning it would take so long and no apologies. One of the dishes was wrong so sent back and the lamb shank was very under cooked. By this time we had enough and couldn't wait to leave. We will never go back as the customer service is terrible and they really don't seem to care about their customers.

This was a revisit as I had to cancel my initial reservation. My partner, sister, and I were excited for dinner at the Rose Inn, but unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We arrived early and enjoyed a glass of wine in the garden. However, upon entering the restaurant, we had to wait in line to be seated at the table I had reserved. Once seated, we were not informed how to order food, so we waited for someone to take our order. After some time, I had to inquire at the bar and was told there would be at least an hour wait for food. Despite mentioning my reservation, the response remained the same.
