Amazing lunch with family and great service . Fantastic staff and was really looked after, thank you again to everyone.

We took the family here for a spot of lunch today. How have we never been here before?! Food was amazing hot and fresh and the staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back soon.

Watch your drink measure as they where under on al our orders. When challenged where not welcoming of the challenge. WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO THIS ONE AGAIN. shame as it was a lovely pub under the old landlord.

This pub has a lot of personality and the staff are friendly. However, there are some issues currently. There are long waits for drinks and I also noticed delays with food. This place really needs more staff, and in this aspect it is not as good as The Old Walnut Tree, another Greene King pub just a mile or two away.

I made a reservation for Sunday lunch, but the staff seemed overwhelmed and we weren't attended to after we were seated. We had to seek out someone to ask a question, and there was a long line at the bar. We were informed there was a 1 hour and 15 minute wait on food, so we decided to leave. It would have been helpful to know about the wait before we sat down with menus.

I came here for years and eating was always ok, I visited last weekend with some friends and the new menu looked great, but was such a disappointment. I ordered a cake and the baked was so hard that instead of letting itself cut, it completely flips over on my teller a friend ordered the risotto and instead creamy and soft was hard and tasteless. the pub itself is great! the waitress was beautiful, the beer garden is fantastic for children and will go back to the occasional pint, but as a restaurant it was bad.

This was a revisit as I had to cancel my initial reservation. My partner, sister, and I were excited for dinner at the Rose Inn, but unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We arrived early and enjoyed a glass of wine in the garden. However, upon entering the restaurant, we had to wait in line to be seated at the table I had reserved. Once seated, we were not informed how to order food, so we waited for someone to take our order. After some time, I had to inquire at the bar and was told there would be at least an hour wait for food. Despite mentioning my reservation, the response remained the same. the first time here, first impressions of the service was blunt and almost like us an inconvenience that the pub was not busy. we sat outside, as it has a good small climbing frame for young children. the menu sounded delicious, I ordered a vegan burger who...solte with sweet chili and mango sauce come. when it arrived, the soße was nowhere to see, only a dry bungalow and very dry kichererbsenpatty with a leaf salat. I asked where the sauce was and the waitress said they weren't sure if the sauce was vegan, so she left. (why was it on the menu then I answered, I don't want to eat so please. she comes back and says that they have fled from the sose (finally the truth). the children carrot and...
