"Had heard so many good things about the new management and the food very upset for how my visit went and how I'd been treated... by management of all people. Don't blame your poor service and lack of competence on your customers. Not only in hospitality is it that the customer is always right but Especially when it Actually is the server completely in the wrong. Blaming customers for your wrong doing and then giving the customer attitude and threatening to throw them out because they're stood up or themselves. Having waited ages for lunch, which was bought to them wrong three times and still not having their food when their friend had already finished their dinner and you being pissed off because I wanted a refund! First time going in this pub since new management, won't be coming again!! On my own account, not because you threatened to make me to leave. A real shame, especially as its all by your attitude and actions. Even other customers were shocked at your actions today. if you can't apologise for your mistakes and keep customers happy maybe your in the wrong business. Absolutely rude and absolutely was no need!!"

lovely service made to feel welcome on my daughters birthday. Run out of vanilla ice cream and given chocolate cake instead, happy days!! All food arrived hot which is task with 11 of us

Pub is under new management and we were the 1st to have the roast dinner, it was beautifully presented, plentiful and the best roast iv had in a long time, definitely be going there again!

Shocking shocking pub.. manager is very rude.. he has no idea what a customer actually wants in a pub… masters golf on.. 30+ people asking for golf… but he has the women’s football on… 2 people in the pub wants the football so the football is on… also horrific pint.. DO NOT GO Voir le carte

Everything wrong about a pub this has…. Managers do not have a clue how to work the TVs or the sound…. Watching sport in the “sports bar” with music playing over the commentary.. the 2 pool tables they have are absolutely abysmal.. I was served a warm strongbow and a half filled Guinness.. they had one good manager called Chris and they got rid.. biggest mistake ever.. hope the pub shuts down.

After deciding to take a road trip, we stopped off at this pub for a quick bite to eat. I ordered the 5 bean chilli which was jam packed full of flavour, accompanied by two decent sides. The portion size was generous, and was the perfect level of heat for the cooler weather. The pub itself was very traditional and clean with a very spacious car park. Our server Harry was very attentive and was very helpful when suggesting dishes to order. Overall, the experience has made the hour journey well worth another visit.
