"The Dining Room has a stellar reputation and going by Google reviews, exceptional in every way. And I will continue to beat that drum. I had the absolute joy of dining here last night. Meticulous attention to detail wove through the evening, through the food and service and ambience, pulling all the elements together into a work of art. The visual beauty of the food did not set you up for a disappointing mouthful. Every flavour and component was there for a reason and played off each other purposefully. My highlights were the truffle cheesecake with balsamic, the smoked cheese custard with Beetroot, the perfectly-cooked-melt-in-your-mouth venison and the rum poached pineapple cheesecake. I tasted many more from people at various levels of willingness to share and can vouch for the rest of the menu too. The value for money is worth mentioning as I left absolutely satiated, happy and not lacking anything. What a treat."

"A converted old farm building into a relaxing cafe in Trebetherick. The staff are always friendly (not teenagers pleasent and you are never rushed with your meal/coffee (great range of coffees and homemade cakes. A family run business and you feel relaxed as soon as you enter the doors. The premises are exceptionally clean and tidy too.The food is great, simple food like sandwiches, baggettes, etc. Good portions and always a nice side salad on the side. Most of the food/drink is sourced locally too I believe. You can relax outside on a hot summers day too. Attached to the building is a arty/crafty shop where you can buy pictures of the local area and craft pieces. Ample free parking, and a very highly recommended place to visit.They also have curry and thai evenings, and open most evenings into a restaurant, although I never have tried."

"that cannot praise enough. he started with a terrine. very nice I thought. moved to 35 days steak. £30 I was thinking it was a little rather than her predatory type places, but hey I am on vacation and in nathan outlaws restaurant, so I expect it to be a little higher. it was worth every penny. she saw perfection and proper melt in mouth cut and finally the desert. Now this is not really something I should be proud of, but I know my sticky toffee puddings and have a top five list where I had them (yes pretty sad). after having two poor versions in cornwall, I came with a argument that if they are square cut, then they are probably better, as single people in a round pudding seem to be the poorer wise. she said it was round, so I rejected a desert. my party ordered one for me at some point and I could not have been wrong if I had tried. this desert went straight to no1. heavenly. great view over the bay/Sea rek has a beautiful evening and all others also enjoyed their meal. I'll be back in rock."

"I had an absolutely fantastic experience at TJ's Surf Cafe during my recent visit. The beachside location created a perfect ambiance, overlooking the stunning Cornish beach where people were enjoying body surfing and surfing. While the kids enjoyed a delicious pizza, I had the pleasure of indulging in the most delectable and juicy burger I've had in a long time. The flavors were exceptional and left me craving for more. "Fantastic food, and ridiculously good cakes! We've actually driven 120miles just to go for a morning at the beach and lunch here. It's really fairly priced too, a meal for 4 adults and 2 kids, with drinks set us back just under £60. All the food is so tasty and locally sourced where possible. In our family it has become the bench mark for other restaurants to be compared to, and they're never quite as good as the Trevathan taste and quality, which is a real shame as it means we have no places to eat in our own area that we want to go and eat at. Very friendly towards children unlike many restaurants, loads of outdoor equipment for various ages of children, electric tractors on a circuit, some electric diggers and a massive snake slide. There's a huge assortment of high quality gifts too in the farmshop so grabbing something for friends, family or the neighbour whose fed your cat while your away on holiday is easily taken care of. It doesn't really matter what your doing in Cornwall or where your going, anyone with a stomach should make a point of stopping by here for lunch, they also do breakfast, which is outstanding, top notch sausages and fresh eggs from the farm."
