Amazing food and beautiful view. I would highly recommend the fish and chips. It is a pity a number of the staff members were quite rude, including one of the hostesses that is your first point of contact.

Although it is a very busy place, the service is brilliant and the food is beautiful. We had the Sunday mixed roasts, only the complaint is that they don't give enough gravy! We need a jug. Nice place to go, recommend.

The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. They even found us a nice table with enough space for our dog to be comfortable, even on a busy Friday night. Overall, a great place that I highly recommend.

Really nice pub in Leigh on sea. We sat outside as was a nice day and has fish and chips. The portion size was large and worth the price. The service was good from staff, did wait a while for the food and drinks to be delivered. You pay everytime you order something so no final bill at the end.

We had a great afternoon with very attentive staff, good drinks and nice dishes. We booked a table for 2 hours and had constant and attentive services by really friendly waiting staff, everything was ordered and brought to the table, food and drink. I had the chicken bacon and avocado salad, was nice. The atmosphere flourished and the view of the sea was beautiful.

We came to the beach to Leigh on the Sean and preferred the houseboat for dinner. We went there with 4 adults and 2 children. We were very hungry and ordered many things. Everything was delicious and delicious. Especially I loved children's menu because in general children's menu not delicious. My sons loved and ate everything. Absolutely I can recommend it. Portion is big enough and everything has chips. I loved staff, especially our tablekeeper girl was very energetic and helpful.

We are not from the area and were only here due to attending a family wedding at Burnham on crouch so decided to visit Southend-on-Sea. We visited the arcades etc and my Mrs wanted fish and chips but the sea front ones looked terrible so we searched Google and my Mrs found the Peterboat so we decided to go there. Wow the food the service and the attention to detail here is 2nd to none for a pub honestly absolutely fantastic. Thanks so much for the wonderful meal and experience at your establishment. My coffee during the meal did the trick for the 5 hour drive home. If we are ever down that way again we will be sure to make a visit for sure.

We came here for Sunday roasts and were not disappointed. The white baby and boy catcher was of a generous portion size like the roasts. I had the hotplate for the head that was a fair part again. With your Sunday roast you will also get a cauliflower cheese that was very beautiful again. The server is friendly here and can advise you on the dishes in the menu. You only get a two-hour slot to eat your meal, but that was a lot for us. If you want to, you can visit the bar for more drinks or sit outside. Parking here is a bit hit and miss, but there are many places within 5 minutes walk. There are disabled parking, but there are a lot of stones so maybe go a bit rough. Overall, we will definit...

My partner and I went to this restaurant on Thursday evening for a date night dinner. I had been wanting to try the chowder for a while, so I ordered it as my starter and it did not disappoint! It was delicious and presented beautifully in a small cob roll. However, there was an unfortunate incident when the waiter accidentally dropped my partner's dinner all over him, leaving grease and food stains on his clothes. The waiter, who turned out to be a supervisor, was very apologetic and took my partner's dinner away to be remade. I asked him to take my dinner and the sides we had ordered as well, but he refused.
