The Olde Bell - Carte

This Inn is a gem of a find, spent the afternoon soon after checking in with a cycle into marlow and back along the river.

Came here last nightIt's an old-style pub, very clean and appealingly fitted out with wooden tables and beams running across the ceiling.

Arriving for dinner with a colleague with no res, we were directed to a small table next to a draughty window in the far corner of the almost empty dining Voir le carte

The historic Inn, dating back to the 11th century, has a warm and friendly staff, though a bit understaffed. The location near the river Thames allows for lovely walks. The rooms are rated a 5, service a 3, and the location a 5. A highlight of the hotel is its peaceful and quiet surroundings.

A wonderful couple of days spent here, very clean and well presented rooms, food excellent and the staff were beyond good! Always pleasant and helpful. We happened upon this beutifull place while we were camping down the road and visiting thorpe park. Their welcome was excellent and the staff were top notch with very good people skills. I had the fish and chips witch was beutifull and the cheese cake for pudding. Will definitely visit again. Food drinks: Awsome Service: 5 Location: 5 Voir le carte

The restaurant received a warm welcome and experienced excellent service with fair prices. There were plenty of ales and wines to choose from, and the menu offered tasty options. The ample parking and comfortable beds added to the experience. The rooms were very clean and overall, the hotel was a great value. I would definitely recommend it. My experience at this restaurant was quite strange. I was hoping to enjoy a casual pint and a bite to eat, but it turned into a series of disappointments. First, the locally brewed IPA that I wanted was not available, and neither was any other alternative. I settled for a cider, only to find out that the gas was off. Eventually, I ended up ordering a soda with lime just to quench my thirst. When it came time to order food, only half of our order was delivered after a 45-minute wait. When I inquired about the missing items, I was asked to prove that I had actually ordered them, which was quite insulting. Overall, the service was poor and inefficient. Don't judge a book by its cover.... beautiful building however this establishment is not customer friendly nor focused!! Woah, what an absolute crying shame, what was once a lovely old English pub filled with atmosphere and happy customers has become an incredible let down of an experiance. Visited yesterday (Saturday 12th August) with my incredibly patient partner to enjoy a few drinks and bite to eat. He went to the bar and purchased our drinks, thought it was odd when he eventually returned baring no real ale for himself which he was looking forward to sup on? He mentioned that all the pumps were not working, no alcoholic beverages in bottles and all that was available was soft drinks....... Voir le carte
