"Ordered x2 toasted Ciabatta sandwiches x1 Aubergine Crispy Artichoke x1 Prosciutto Ham Cheese . The Ciabatta was stale, the Aubergine came without any artichoke, and neither came with their accompanying side salad garnish. They also have the cheek to add a 10% service charge automatically . After complaining, we were given a partial discount but, they gave a full refund onto my debit card and then took the new, reduced payment again. The refund is not immediate, so I've now paid for sub-standard food twice until I get my refund in 3-5 working days ..... be wary!"

If you want a nice atmosphere with almost attentive staff and overpriced food, then an Oakman Inn is the place to visit.

I came to visit my daughter with my sister and although the service was good and the waiting staff with the dark curly hair was really lovely the food was extremely poor and overpriced. Very disappointed and will not be eating there again

We had a great late lunch in the pub/ restaurant having failed to find anywhere else serving food late afternoon. Great choice of 3 well kept Ales and excellent menu choice including good vegan options. The staff were excellent. Second time we've eaten here and both times were most enjoyable

Lovely restaurant, delicious food and well presented. The atmosphere was good. The staff were extremely friendly and professional, ensuring we had everything we wanted. We were most impressed that they catered for dogs, supplying our small dog with a bowl of water and treats. We will definitely return.

In Wallingford on business. Decided to try The Old Post Office for evening meal. Ordered pizza margarita. Shame the chef couldn’t manage to get the tomato sauce spread evenly over the base. Told the waitress hoping the chef would at least come over to apologise , but nothing!! Not even from the manager Plenty of other pizza places in Wallingford, but what a shame!!
