"I really liked this multi-roomed Adnams pub situated across the road from the 17th century Moot hall and seafront gardens. If you enter from the sea facing side then you walk through two front areas mainly aligned for dining before reaching the bar and an additional two areas which are more set up just for drinking. A nice Creme and sea blue decor throughout and plenty of period black and white photos of the local area to provide some character. 4 Adnams ales were on with the usual Broadside, Southwold Bitter and Ghostship, but I went for the Regatta golden ale and very good it was. We were only in for drinks on this lunchtime as we intended to graze from the seafood shacks on the stone beach a short walk away, and I like the fact that there was a good mix of people eating and just drinking, even in the front two rooms. This was probably the pick of the pubs I tried in Aldeburgh."

Really enjoyed the pork ribs from the smoker. Half rack was plenty. Rib eye steak also top notch. Friendly staff and a nice feel to the pub. My favourite in Aldeburgh.

We came to this pub way too late on our holiday to Aldeburgh. It was a really great place. We are on two night because the food was so lovely. The bar staff were friendly as were the locals. An absolute must if visiting Aldeburgh.

Hey! , This is a proper pub. My family and I have been coming to Aldeburgh for years. We always have at least 1 lovely meal on our holiday here at the Mill Inn… never been disappointed, this year we have Busta Andy behind the bar and serving. Great guys, Great food, . Do yourself a favour, book in advance.

I found the service to be excellent and many of the dishes around me received glowing reviews and were beautifully presented. The beer selection was good, and the staff was helpful. However, I was disappointed by the ribs, which were very dry and tough. I had high expectations for the ribs since the restaurant has a smoker, but they were just average.

We reserved a room at the Mill Inn for our second visit, after enjoying our first stay there last year. Both rooms were beautiful, very clean, with cozy beds and freshly decorated. The inn has great amenities, offers sea views, and serves delicious breakfasts. The staff and owner are friendly and attentive. Overall, it's a wonderful place to stay in a perfect seaside setting.

Found this as the menu had a large selection of Gluten Free items, many of which are battered which is a nice bonus as their batter is gluten free. Had a selection of starters including cauliflower popcorn, garlic mushrooms and steak sizzler, then the ribs for main. Steak sizzler was amazing, so sweet tasting and the other items were also excellent. Would recommend The Mill Inn if you are in Aldeburgh, worth a visit and great for gluten free.

We dined at this restaurant on a bustling Saturday evening and would definitely come back if we are in the area again. While some of us ordered from the main menu, others chose dishes from the specials board. The menu offered a mix of classic favorites like Scampi, Fish and Chips, and Burgers, as well as more unique options like Boa Buns, Cajun Chicken Sizzlers, and Nacho Platter. The service was fast and the prices were reasonable. Highly recommended.

"Sunday of our recent visit to aldeburgh was the Mother's Day and we welcomed the opportunity to taste the afternoon tea in the white lion hotel in adleburgh. the conditoir chef at the white lion is anmar odendal, an award-winning wedding cake designer. by her business crumb, she was recognized in 2013 by the high-time industry as the best wedding cake designer in the eastern englands. Our afternoon tea was florally inspired and included a selection of sandwiches, scones, cakes and pastries with a selection of tea, a glass champagne and a little pot flowers for mama, all at an incredible price of £20. it was overexamination good value and hard to think that we could get so much for so little. in a comparable iondon establishment would cost a afternoon as this probably at least £35 to £40. the selection of the fingersandwiches was delicious and included standard fillings such as gurke, sink, ei and water circles. the scenes were quite seductive, as they presented us an appealing texture. the outer was crispy and the interieur was soft. warm stuffed, the scones went floating with the dipped cream and delicious homemade skyberry jam. to the sweet things (my favorite part of a afternoon,) and on the top level of the tablet there were some beautiful pink meringue sandwiches lined with rosen water chantilly cream. these were delicate and as light as spring, and the combination with the cream was a good one. also on the top level was a zesty orange flower and vanille panna cotta sown with Indian orange blossom water and with fresh orange cest, popping sweets and a berry jelly. the jelly was particularly delicious as he was very fruity and helped to lift the panna cotta. the popping sweets was also a good note and gave the panna cotta an exciting twist. the panna cotta itself had a good consistency, but needed a little more vanilla for more taste. to move on the floor, and we really enjoyed the dark chocolate breweries as these were decadent and rich with an intense chocolate-y quality. the lavender sprocket was buttery and light, and the homemade makkarons of beet root and berry with a vanilla buttercream frosting filling were very welcoming. the macaron dishes were a little dense in the texture, but the taste combinations were a joy and were a joy to eat. a pistachio viktoriaschwamm came with a fabulous rose blossom jam center that really lifted the sponge with its sweet and exciting nature. it was a wonderful combination, and the sponge itself had a nice taste, although it was a touch dry. the themes for the afternoon tea on the white lion will change with the time as chef anmar constantly seeks new ideas and brings colorful inventions to the table. but is sure that every afternoon tee will be very pleasant. unique, colorful and funny, the pastries we tried were inviting to eat and showed solid technology. her creativity demonstrated the artistic and originality in her design. the sandwiches and skorn were also very good, and at a ridiculously reasonable price of £20 per head, the white lion showed that it is doing really well in the afternoon. I calculate today afternoon tee with 3.75/5"
