A delightful variety of ciders and beers. The food was well-cooked and beautifully presented.

We visit here very often (as a very dog friendly pub) and had a lovely Xmas fayre menu meal. Food was extremely nice and staff very attentive. Thank you again and look forward to visiting again soon.

The location is fantastic, and the staff is polite and friendly. I had some of the best pub food I've ever tasted. I highly recommend visiting this place, as it also seems to be a popular stop for bikers and car enthusiasts.

there are numerous places and it is simply better and better. eating is excellent, the selection of beer is excellent and the staff is always friendly. the position directly at the cut is so relaxing. very recommend this beautiful small pub.

Took the wife for anniversary meal this afternoon, I had Stilton and mushroom burger. Wife had Cajun chicken and daughter had spaghetti. Lovely food and no complaints from any of us apart from I didn't have room for American pancake for dessert Voir le carte

My first visit last night with friends. Was very impressed. Food was excellent and staff very attentive. We were a party of 11 but all the food was piping hot and delicious. My steak was perfect, cooked just how I’d asked and so tender. Well done The Lock.

We absolutely loved it! While visiting Australia, we were craving homemade pub food reminiscent of English countryside dining, and this place delivered perfectly. The food was delicious, served by a cozy open fire. The beef and ale pie was incredible, with the meat cooked to perfection, and the lasagna was so good—possibly even better than my mother's! The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. We give it a massive 5 out of 5 from all five of us!

Every time I walk by this restaurant, it's usually quite busy. However, yesterday it looked quiet, so we decided to park and sit near the window for lunch. I ordered the faggots, which were served in a fantastic gravy and tasted delicious. I also had the steak and ale pie (thanks to my hearty breakfast!). My aunt chose the fish cake, which was packed with fish but a bit on the dry side. I think next time we’ll all opt for the faggots! We enjoyed our coffee outside while watching the narrowboats pass by. It's also a great spot to take your dog. Voir le carte
