Got lost getting there, but was worth every minute of the drive, wonderful setting, lovely warm relaxed atmosphere and very efficient service. Good quality, well presented food.

Our first time here but definitely not our last, lovely cosy pub, very polite, friendly and helpful staff and excellent food, I only wish it was a bit was closer to us as would definitely be our local to be used on a regular basis.

A lovely friendly atmosphere, very quaint building and the outlook was superb. the food was delicious and enjoyed by everyone. I would definitely recommend this place to others. Perhaps not to very elderly people as the steps down to the pub are very steep

We had a reservation for 12:45, but two of us didn’t receive our starters until 1:30, and our main courses didn’t arrive until 2:15! Although they did offer us three complimentary desserts as compensation, we ended up ordering more drinks while we waited, so they still benefited financially from us. The waitstaff were very apologetic, but this isn’t the first time we’ve experienced such slow service; the last time we visited, a couple of years ago, it was nearly as bad, which had already put us off. We decided to give it another chance because we enjoy the food, but after this experience, we might not return again. It’s a pity.

That was my first meal when we had become vegan, we were with the family, I didn't know where we wanted or if there was something on the menu, so I was worried to say the least. What a nice surprise was to see so many vegan and vegetarian options on the menu. I felt really spoiled for choice. Everything was marked very clearly with (v) or (vg) and there were options in each part of the menu. We went for lunch, I had the Falafel Burger and the Brioche bread for roasted Focaccia, as the menu suggested to make it vegan. It even came with a small pot of vegan garlic Mayo! It was all sooo delicious! I could see how the meat eaters on the table suck my plate. For dessert I had the Vegan chocolate...
