The food was absolutely amazing and so reasonably priced. The sticky toffee pudding and cream was good enough to die for.

My wife and I went to this restaurant for her birthday on December 23, 2023. We were accompanied by our daughter Rachel, as well as Bella and Dan. We all ordered different meals, followed by dessert and a complimentary bottle of wine provided by the owners, Ollie and Dawn. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and we left feeling satisfied and happy with everything. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who has not yet visited.

I live nearby this pub and stop in for a few drinks once a week, usually in the late afternoon or early evening. I am not a heavy drinker, nor am I a difficult customer, or one who complains about a cloudy beer, which unfortunately happens quite often here. Aside from one of the owners, I must say that the service is generally below average, the beer is usually mediocre, and the landlady is simply rude. I don't often eat here so I can't speak to the food quality, but the last time I did eat here, which was about a month ago, the food was also just average.

I went to this restaurant for a steak and chips with a beer. The beer was good as usual, and the steak was tasty. However, the chips were hard. I brought this to the attention of the staff, and they gave me a new portion of chips, which were still hard in the middle. I raised this concern again, but was told by the barman that chips are just chips. I was disappointed as I believe chips should be soft in the middle. The issue was not resolved, and I felt like I had paid for a steak without proper chips. Despite this, I have mostly had good experiences here in the past, so I am giving this place 3 stars. It's a shame that they seemed to have forgotten about the customer in this instance. Voir le carte
