"Amazing! As good, if not better than before! We were regular visitors of this pub before it closed, it was our favourite country bolthole we were gutted when it shut. We were so thrilled to hear it had opened again and wow, it did not disappoint. The service, ambiance, food drink exceeded all expectations! The ingredients are top quality clearly very fresh. Fantastic service, best food I have had all winter with a menu that isn’t mimicking neighbouring eateries. The sea bass was divine and I had the best rice pudding I’ve ever tasted!

we went to live let last night; the meal was absolutely excellent. we both had the fish soup, excellent. I had mustels, beautiful sauce, my wife had a hamburger, also top note. excellent service. can not think if we last enjoyed a meal so much! well done!

I was super impressed by this pub! the interiors are beautiful and there is a very cozy landscape pub feel at it. we came 2 nights in order and had delicious pizza in the first night and then a preordered menu on the second. the food was absolutely delicious!

my friend recommended this place for a Sunday roast and it was not disappointed! I and my partner had both the lamb that was tasty and soft, and the bratkartoffels were crispy and nice next to the veg. we went to the vatertag, so there was a live jazz trio that was a fabulous surprise to add our meal, the staff was very helpful

Wow wow wow So glad that we heard that this pub had been bought by the owner of the 7 stars and had persuaded the amazing chef Ian to come to chef here. We had an incredible meal. Scotch egg, Cullen skink, roast chicken, moules and the most amazing pasta. Even pudding was amazing. Great find, we will be here again without a doubt. Miss this at your peril.

that looks pretty small and out of the outside, but eating was really impressive! we went to dinner on Saturday and it was so good that we also booked ourselves for the Sunday roast! for the first time in the old I had 3 courses because everything sounded so tasty, and everything was very good. pub is also dog friendly and has good seating outdoors, which is key:
