"Having completed a circular walk that started and ended in Horsley, we thought we would pop into the local hostelry as a reward at the end of our travails. And what a joy it was! The welcome was friendly, the Moretti was cold, and the (assumed) regulars seemed to be chatty and sociable. We started in the garden but then rain threatened (wrongly, as it turned out) so we took our second drink inside: a lovely choice of places to sit, some very loungey ; we picked a table by the window where we found a huge array of box games to select and play! We will most definitely be returning to this place, not least because we now have four stamps on our loyalty card towards a free pizza or pint!"

Great country pub that welcomes dogs! Had a delicious Thai meal from the pop up restaurant that night. Friendly staff and good selection of board games too, making you feel welcome to hang out. Thanks for a lovely evening.

The staff at the Hog, particularly Vicki, Christian, and Luke, were incredible behind the bar. Vicki stood out in particular, going the extra mile for us. I highly recommend this restaurant! Be sure to ask for Vicki when you visit.

Absolutely awesome gem of a pub. Cosy, friendly atmosphere, delicious Wood-fired pizza, Luke and Christian are welcoming and attentive, loads of board games to play, super range of drinks, and really good prices. 100% would recommend The Hog. Voir le carte

It was a last minute booking , and I'm glad we picked the Hog . Set in such a cute village in stunning country side . Room was spacious and clean , with great thought to small details . Service in the bar was friendly and helpfull and very accommodating.

Staying in horsley for a week and wow do we love the pub. The themed food nights are fantastic. Really loved it. The service was brilliant. Such great staff to us out of towners . A lovely local feel and vibe but also an everyone welcome feel too. Really would recommend and wish this was our local!
