"Very welcoming staff, fabulous service and a good variety of menu options of which I chose the chicken burger which was phenomenal! The back room has a pool and table and arcade machine both for 50p a go! Would recommend and would love to go again! Parking: Plenty of spaces in free car park directly attached to pub. nice little pub. friendly service. battered calamari was very crispy. both the wild and the bark burgers were perfectly cooked with whirl rings, chips, koleslaw and salat. we were too full of dessert.

One of those little country hidden gems, great little pub. Food was fantastic and when they say real chips they mean real chips, big chunky real chips! Great portions great taste, super friendly service and very comfortable relaxed atmosphere, well worth a visit, you won't be disappointed. "We popped in here following a visit to the Ryedale Museum (which is well worth a visit). The weather was awful and we were wet and needed something warm and comforting and we were not disappointed. We were made very welcome by the staff there and with two Greyhounds we sat in the comfortable dog seating area. We had home made soup and a panini for a decent price. This was followed by a large syrup sponge which was devine. The sponge was light and fluffy, the ice-cream was beautiful and the portion was huge. All the food is home made which is apparent by the quality you receive. If you you visit the museum and show your ticket you get 20% off. This is a wonderful place for top notch food and a warm welcome. Well worth a visit."

"We were staying in Hutton Le hole for a few days and 7 of us Went for a family meal. Sat in garden as had a little dog with us but didn’t mind cos was a lovely evening and garden was busy with other customers so lovely atmosphere. The food was absolutely fabulous and value for money. Wish we had found this place sooner and not our last night. This is definitely the best pub around and well worth a trip out Food drinks: I had the seafood salad which was lovely and fresh. Others had lamb pie which said was lovely and tender. Steak and ale pie and fish pie and every plate was empty by the end."

"I was very impressed by this restaurant! The old building was stunning, with a beautiful fire in the bar and lovely decor in the dining room. The atmosphere was cosy and inviting, with colourful velvet curtains, tartans, nice lighting, and a great photo wall. The menu was varied and exciting, and we enjoyed everything we ordered. The veg was excellent, especially the carrot and swede mash, and the roast beef was delicious. The salmon risotto and belly pork were also fantastic. It was nice to have specials in addition to the main menu. The crumble was one of the best I've had, with perfectly cooked fruit and quality ice cream. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I can't wait to return and try the soup and sandwich during the week, and the pizza cooked outdoors in the summer!"

"2 older members of my family where on holiday in the area they walked 2 miles to come for a Sunday dinner at this pub the staff where very rude and says they could not have a big table as there is only 2 of them and there was no small tables available this is disgusting when they walked 2 mile just to visit Service: 1 Location: 3"

"We made a last-minute reservation for dinner and had a wonderful time at this pub. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff was lovely. They even made my children feel welcome and engaged with them. The food was delicious, with generous portion sizes. The only minor complaint, and this is just me being picky, was that the vegetables were a bit too al dente for my liking. I can't fathom why anyone would criticize the service here - Hutton le Hole is truly a hidden gem."
