"After struggling with transportation to get to a restaurant in Castleford, our last resort was ordering delivery from the soon-to-close Golden Dragon. They were accommodating and the food was amazing. The shredded crispy beef and salt and pepper chips were the best I've ever had. Unfortunately, the photo is of the mostly eaten portion, but the food was too good not to share!"

Just had a lovely meal here. The staff were very friendly. The food was delicious. Despite the restaurant being small and they had a Birthday party in, we managed to get seated and food arrived quickly.

I have been a patron of The Golden Dragon for years. I recently returned after a break and had a wonderful experience. The food is just as delicious as always. The female owner is charming and hospitable. It's important to support our local restaurants.

I stopped by this restaurant for the first time tonight to get takeout and I'm so glad I did. The Crispy Beef was extra spicy and the Beef Szechuan was also extra spicy. Both dishes were fantastic in terms of taste and quality. I can confidently say that I will definitely be returning again very soon.

Worst takeaway ever chips dryer than the desert food not even warm the mixed grill didn't even look like one covered in sauce the sausages were horrible really mushy the peas felt like they were from weeks ago. The bacon was really dry and no taste whatsoever the egg felt like it was cooked hour's before hand.

Very quiet in the restaurant but people in collecting takeaway meals regularly. We had prawn toast, chicken satay, crispy shredded beef, honey ribs, salt and pepper chicken, Singapore vermicelli, sweet and sour chicken, sweet and sour king prawns. Food was superb, piping hot, plentiful portions and good menu. Staff attentive and polite. Can't fault it.
