"It was late morning, We popped in cause we were ready to eat and there were tables free. Normally we’ll scope out reviews here on TA, but the inside tables were there so we grabbed them on a day with questionable weather. What a delightful...surprise! Later we saw good reviews here and said, of course! We enjoyed a second breakfast- happily eating eggs royale, sausage bap, smoked haddock and poached eggs, and a full Montgomery. All of us were pleased with our food. Highlights: The bread, fab; the eggs, perfect and the mushrooms divine. Would definitely come again!"

The cafe is charming and offers an extensive variety of cakes, savory snacks, and food. We thoroughly enjoyed our cake and were delighted that they offer oatly 'milk'.

Lovely welcome from the amazing Iris, full of life and totally in control of the cafe. We just had a coffee and a chilli hot chocolate, new experience, excellent! Next time we'll eat there

We were lucky to get a table as clearly a busy place. Fabulous quality breakfast (served til large portions and really good coffee. Coupled with friendly efficient staff. We'll definitely be back.

This restaurant has a slightly quirky atmosphere with various seating options. It was quite crowded for October, but cleared out by 2pm. I enjoyed a delicious pastie and pickle, although I wish the table had been cleaned before we sat down.

We’re lucky enough to live locally and this is our go-to breakfast and lunch spot. Always made to feel at home, always served awesome food, friendly service which lets you come out feeling far more chilled than you went in. Keian and the team go...above and beyond can’t recommend highly enough
