"We hit a quiet spot Thursday lunchtime. We were virtually the only diners so the ambience was zero. Service was excellent and friendly but the food was mediocre. The music was too loud for an empty pub and imposed upon the conversation. I wouldn't go so far as to call it a gastro pub. At £45 a head including drink and service, there are places that offer better value for money."

The Sunday Roast was absolutely delicious we had the gammon fantastic. We had the biscotti cheesecake to follow which was divine.

Fantastic!!! Took in laws, children and our dog. Pre booked a table. Not too long a wait for food, service exemplary, food delicious! Really looked after us well. Definitely recommend

Service good, food good. Very loud family with very young kids in same area as us spoilt the mood a bit. Mum had a loud voice that could cut glass, and kids left to jump up and down on the seat behind us in our booth.

we continued working and our hotel recommended we dive, I have eaten at some places, but eating here was excellent. the young on the bar joe, dan and dom were very helpful to make the strange cocktails I requested. would recommend a visit thanks to the young.
