Lovely meal with friends, table service in restaurant, welcoming staff. Would recommend, will return.

Very friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and food. Went with 91 year old mum and nothing was too much trouble. Carvery was very good and plentiful .

Eaten here loads of times and always been great but just don't like the new menu. Many of our favourites have been taken off. Hopeful that when it comes time for a new menu they will reappear. Voir le carte

Came last week with friends, all had a delicious tasty burger with refreshments that were top notch. We was served by Lynn the landlady, amazing woman I’d come back just to see her again! Prices were really good and all round great pub. Shall be coming back !

Lovely evening meal with friends. Table service offered in the conservatory /restaurant area. Cheaper beer prices through week £3.25 pint Carling some Special offers on food, win, win. Cheese/Bacon Burger, Chunky Chips, delicious. Friendly, welcoming atmosphere throughout the place. Will return soon...

When on earth are those controlling this establishment going to get to grips with the appalling bar service. All the positive reviews relate to food. Try and get served at the bar as a regular!! The main bar is constantly bereft of staff who can be found (one in particular) hiding in the space between the two bars on her phone and is indignant when broken off to serve. Needs sorting. Great locals pub in the heart of the community. Called in with family over the weekend, the pub was quite busy but we were served pretty quickly by the friendly and efficient staff. I had a pint of Theakstons Lightfoot cask ale which was spot on, a good clean tasting cask ale and well kept. There was a good atmosphere and the singer was very good too so we stayed for a few drinks. Highly recommended!

Tried this pub for the first time yesterday having seen it recommended on local Facebook groups. My friend and I ordered the burgers which includes chips and a free soft drink for just over £12. We both really enjoyed the food, it was plentiful and cooked well. We even found a space for a dessert both opted for the sticky toffee pudding which was also very good for £4.50. The place itself is very spacious and light with having a large conservatory area. As we were there middle of the day on a Wednesday, it was very quiet so we were able to have a good catch up and enjoy our meal in peace. Server attitude bad from the start, pre booked table for 4 6.30 on Sunday, hardly out of hours but yet she said oh ok come on you can sit there un placed table) several others set up already but shoved onto that one. Took drinks order then asked if ok to place food order, no problems then after food orders placed came back and said no Sunday menu left. Reordered and again came back with run out of x and y so can't complete your order but here it is anyway without substitutions or an offer or price reduction. Ordered more drinks then someone else came to clear plates but never mentioned would we like deserts, half an hour passed and the original ignorant server was cleaning tables down so I a...
