The new chef is a brilliant cook and the food tastes amazing. The old school style of the burger was out of this world, and the chicken wings were deliciously traditional. I would definitely go back again. The service was fast, with no waiting time.

Visited with family last night. Only group eating and had to wait absolutely ages for our meals. Very limited menu, nothing like it says online Burgers only meal that was any good, chicken meal very dry, my pasta dish very greasy oily and small portion. Staff worked hard and apologetic regarding wait. Very tatty surroundings that needs a lot of work. Not good enough, dissapointed.

The food at this restaurant was subpar. The pie I ordered was terrible - it didn't taste like a traditional chicken pie at all, which is surprising considering I work in the catering industry. I much prefer the Royal Oak, as they have a wider selection and more variety of vegetables. This restaurant only offered green beans and carrots. I won't be returning, and I can understand why we were the only customers there. The staff at this restaurant could take a lesson from the Royal Oak and improve their offerings.

It has taken me a few weeks to reflect on my experience at this pub. We attended a wake there, so it's difficult to write a review. However, I must say that the buffet provided was very poor, especially considering the widow was charged £520 for it. The selection mostly consisted of tuna sandwiches, a few ham and cheese sandwiches, chips, sausage rolls, cocktail sausages, chicken nuggets, and a small portion of pasta salad. It is evident that the pub is under new management, but it lacks the quality and standards set by the previous landlord. The current landlord should reconsider how the village pub is operated and address the issue of lost customers due to the subpar food quality and high... Voir le carte
