Lovely and cozy B&B. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was super delicious. Safe parking for motorbike away, not visible from the road. The room is far from the pub, so was very quiet. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Quiet, Great value

very enjoyed our stay, which we stayed for a night with our 2 dogs, the doggie friendly room was nice, the staff was very welcoming and the food was excellent and it was nice that the dogs could come with us for an evening meal and breakfast. we will definitely go back and recommend Voir le carte

Had dinner while staying over at The Duke; we found the food very tasty, decent portions, and just great value for money. I had and would recommend the New Jersey chicken. Drink prices were also reasonable.Unfortunately we had to be elsewhere after checking-out on the Sunday else we'd probably have stayed for the Roast dinner!

Fantastic, friendly pub with a really good atmosphere. We stayed overnight whilst visiting Chatsworth House, the rooms are set away from the main pub in the old stable block in the courtyard. Our room was small but had everything you needed. It was very clean and most of all quiet. The only criticism, if you could call it that, was that it is at the top if an extremely long and steep hill so either you need your own transport or a taxi to get up to the pub Noteworthy details: Unless you have your own transport or used a taxi service you may find it difficult to reach the pub

Well, what a nice place, the bus stop is just over the road, breakfast was really nice the staff could not do enough for you, going back Nov, and will stop there again, In fact, every time i go to matlock area, if they can get me in, i will stop there. Rooms: Rooms are great, lots of room, well kept reall nice and warm cozy, i was in No 7, there was a bath shower ,what a lovely soak. Walkability: It is on a big hill,if you have a car, no probs, if you dont, busses from Matlock take you it, bus stop over road). Food drinks: Fantastic, The steaks were the best i have tasted, no bull, The Best. Voir le carte
