We had a Christmas meal last night and the food was Lovely atmosphere! served by a young lady called Charlotte who was very pleasant highly recommend.

humans and dogs had an excellent lunch. Landlady was incredibly friendly and talked us through the beers and menu. Great gluten free options and food in general was great. recommended.

On a very rainy Sunday afternoon The Crown was the perfect venue... table booked for the rugby. What's not to love about a good meal deal, burger and a pint (wine option available) for Food was lovely, staff friendly and welcoming.

There were of us that met up at The Crown for a couple of afternoon drinks before heading out for the evening, although the kitchen was closed the Landlady kindly made us all sandwiches to see us through!!! A very lovely friendly and welcoming...pub

We have Have eaten at The Crown a few times now and have always been very satisfied But have to say tonight’s meal has topped the lot, The Crowns Valentine’s Meal was absolutely Amazing from start to finish. Visited for a roast dinner today as I had heard they recently changed chefs. The food was totally amazing. There was a choice of meats, we cldnt decide which one to have, so had all It was nice to have a roast and...it not be a carvery. All the staff were polite and friendly, will definitely visit again. I have heard that in the new year they are re-vamping the menu and introducing specials nights, can't wait to the steak nights.

Hadn't been out on new year's eve for well over a decade and I had some apprehensions. Need'nt have worried at all. The team at the crown really make you feel at home and keep things simple. The food (steak) was delicious, the drinks were...as expected the entertainment was great fun. Never had to search for a team member, they were always near by, and although it was busy, it wasn't ridiculously busy which is how I prefer things to be. Credit to Sarah, family team for your hard work. May even come back for NYE this year!

Limited menu but decided to go because steak was listed on the on line menu. The menu in the restaurant did not include steak. We were told that would not be available until later in the month. At the bar we were greeted by a...row several handpumps with the pump clips turned round. Two real ales were available. The quality of the IPA I opted for was questionable. The member of staff stated that there were delays on supply of some of the drinks. This pub is almost next door to the brewery. The staff were friendly and doing their best in what seemed to me a poorly managed pub. The food we had was passable but far from deserving the stars plus given by previous reviews. Voir le carte
