"The place was welcoming and the staff were very nice but the food really let it down. I ordered the Chicken Pasta Alfredo and it came with macaroni noodles that were thin like the ones you get in instant pasta pots and were either overcooked and mushy or reheated, overall it was bland. Though I must say the garlic bread that came with it was to die for! The food really didn't condone the price and I felt a bit ripped off by it but the staff made the experience a lot better so it feels right giving three stars still despite what I didn't like about the food."

Delicious food and fantastic staff. The curry was excellent, and my partner enjoyed the mixed grill as well. The prices are reasonable, and the pub atmosphere is delightful.

This is the best beef and ale pie I've ever had! The staff were incredibly friendly and even offered me bread to soak up the delicious gravy. They made sure nothing was too much trouble. I haven't visited in a while because of COVID, but I can't wait to return. It's truly fantastic! Voir le carte

The service here was absolutely outstanding, unfortunately my first meal wasn 't quite right but they graciously took it back and replaced it. What followed was delicious and my partner 's meal was, I quote, the best burger he 's ever had !! And we 've had a lot of burgers in our time We will definitely be back

This restaurant seems to have regressed from its previous standards. The prices are exorbitant, even considering the current economic climate, and the quality of the food was disappointing. While the service was polite and friendly, the final result didn't live up to expectations, and the cost was not justified by the lack of quality.

Food was lovely, seems pricey but believe me it's worth the money! My dad had a pie that could feed 2. Do not eat before you go. Pub seemed friendly, staff were attentive and happy to help. We will be back in the future. Only thing I would say is there doesn't seem to be a car park (well I didn't see it if it was there) so limited parking on the road. Voir le carte

"Great restaurant, staff, food and ambience. We had a works 'do ' there, 26 of us and the food was wonderful, we all ate together and the staff were wonderful, nothing too much trouble. The food was amazing I had turkey which was succulent and tasty with no fat at all I 'm not a big fan of turkey either, but this was lovely); the traditional Christmas veg were cooked to perfection, tasty and plentiful; both starter and dessert prawn salmon cocktail and 3 cheesecake dessert) were gorgeous. I 've eaten in 'posh ' and expensive restaurants but this is the best I have had anywhere, especially for the price £30.00 for 3 course Christmas menu, can 't fault that at all! It was such a lovely experience, I took my son there on the Sunday as well and we had the usual 3 course Sunday Lunch £23.00) which again was excellent VFM and totally delicious. I had beef which was reminiscent of Scottish thick flank no fat at all and beautifully succulent and tasty. Usual veg again cooked to perfection, which my son hoovered up to the point of being full as he hates waste. I was getting full halfway through but had to keep eating, it was so lovely. This is a privately owned restaurant and they do things their way none of this 'chain ' rules for them, thankfully, just pure delight for their customers. The staff on both occasions were lovely, nothing too much trouble and very friendly. I can 't wait to go again! If you like a really good Sunday roast, you must try this restaurant, it 's the best!"
