Visited for Sunday lunch with family. 5 had beef and 1 had roast pork. All meals were delicious. Meat melted in the mouth. Will definitely visit again.

Went here for Sunday lunch and it was lovely. Very friendly staff and the food was cooked perfect and the price is very reasonable. Will definitely be returning regularly.

Just got home from having Sunday lunch, wow, best we’ve had for a long time. Beautiful beef melt in your mouth. Gravy really tasty more veg than we could eat. Will certainly return. Staff very friendly. Loved it, thank you very much. Oh by the way drinks very reasonable. Voir le carte

First meal out, Sunday dinner for over a year. Booked and family visited. However sat on table opposite very busy kitchen door ordered 3 nut roasts and one main meal. Received quorn roast which I have served for past few months sorry but so disappointed!!! Returned my food as I could not stand another quorn roast

The young bar lady was so well spoken and honestly added to the experience. She wasn't dressed so nice though but her smile made up for it. The drinks are well priced but not many soft drinks available for the young ones and unfortunately my gay son overhead some homophobic comments about the young bar lady as she was getting some ice but we didn't feel like we needed to stepped in. Overall we will be returning.

Excellent service from FOH girls. All staff were proactive constantly. Quality of food was superb. Really enjoyed the dinner and for desert the sticky toffee pudding was delicious. Good prices too Also will mention my son can only eat a very specific selection of food so options are minimum and the colour of food has to be right (not burned or under cooked food. The team offered to make him chicken nuggets and chips. BIG thanks goes to the chef and team for that. Highly recommended! Voir le carte

The staff here are very friendly, we had a lockdown Sunday lunch, plentiful and tasty. The meal was late, and what a lovely gesture, they wanted us to have free of charge, insisted on paying, but appreciated how thoughtful some people are. Returned yesterday for pub lunch, lovely people, couldn’t be more friendly. Had the chicken curry, delicious and piping hot. Also two corned beef pie meals ordered which was commented on how lovely and plentiful.Great price. Lovely pub well worth visiting.

Love this pub as just down the road from us which is great during local lockdown, friendly staff and Mike and Adele the landlord and landlady are really friendly. Had Sunday lunch on 13 September absolutely delicious- beef, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing ball, boiled and roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese, carrots, cabbage, swede, peas and gravy, highly recommend. Also went here on 18 September and I had homemade chicken curry half and half, hubby had homemade steak and mushroom pie with filo top, chips and gravy which was so nice he brought one home!

Fabulous Sunday lunch. The best value meal I have had out in a long time. 5 of us had starters of soup and prawn cocktails. 3 large beef, 1 chicken and 1 mixed meat all with roast potatoes, stuffing and Yorkshires. The vegetables came in serving dishes swede, carrots, cabbage, peas, cauliflower cheese and a bowl of amazing creamy mashed potatoes. 4 gravy jugs of hot delicious gravy. What more could you ask for for 13.95 main course. Starters and desserts £4.50. Only 2 has dessert as the rest of us were full up! Would definitely recommend and will return. Voir le carte
