The restaurant review is saying that the drink was overpriced because when the volume is below 20%, it should be served as a 50ml single shot, not a 25ml shot. The reviewer was not happy with the service at the bar. Voir le carte

Visited here this evening for a meal with friends. Was greeted by male with long hair who’s customer service was unprofessional to say the least. No please, thank you or a smile! No locks on the doors in the dirty toilets. Will not call here again. Disgraceful service!

Brilliant service from Bella. Unfortunately that’s the only light in a rather drab offering of very average food the age old problem of the discrepancy between the delights offered on the menu and the crushing reality that the Chef can’t cook a decent steak. Not a meal I will care to remember.

The local pub is friendly, but the tables need to be sprayed to prevent them from becoming sticky. Initially, I mistook it for a cafe or restaurant catered towards senior citizens until someone informed me that it was actually a pub. Perhaps some signage on the exterior could make its identity more apparent! Voir le carte

Unfortunately, even though we had made a reservation, when we arrived at the restaurant, the waitress asked people at a table to move so we could sit there. We ended up at a sticky table, feeling a bit uncomfortable with the people watching us. The meal was alright overall, but my pie was cold in the middle. After sending it back, I received a new hot meal, but by then my family had already finished eating. The pub, located in the town centre, was very noisy with everyone trying to speak over each other. It was an unpleasant experience, and we probably won't be returning.

The food in the cottage is decent and also very decently priced. It looks and feels like an average pub because with due respect that isn't anything particually remarkable about it appart from its bar. The best thing about the cottage is its night life. Since it is a restuarant by day the cottage would make for a good place to have sit down and have a few pints with your mate on a Saturday night right? Unfortunately no because the night in the cottage is plagued by music which is simply too loud resulting in everyone trying to talk over the music and by extension themselves. The venue you becomes pretty depressing pretty quickly if you don't already come there drunk. There is no real reason...

The person who served us for the first two courses was excellent. Was very professional and caring. We ordered four starters consisting of three dishes, two of which were prawn cocktail, the prawns were chewy not soft and tender. I assume they were overcooked. I ordered medium to well steak for my main course, you could have soled a shoes with it. Our earlier course server came over and apologised but was finishing for the evening but another server would be taking over. OK, we ordered or desserts which included Belgium waffles. When they arrived they were so hard to be almost inedible. And finally, the Facebook infamous toilets didn’t fail to disappoint. Only one cubicle in the Ladies had a... Voir le carte
