"Dined for a family birthday celebration; we were asked to pre order as in party. Communication and service were not the best although we were not sat waiting for food. All meals were great except for the beef Sunday dinner which was the end of joint and gristly. Lovely atmosphere and no other complaints. Great if this is the location however other places have better service."

the refit is great, eating was excellent and the staff very attentive. 20 strange years ago we engaged here, and when they found out why we booked, they gave us a free bottle bubbly, thanks to team copper horse, it went a tasty bite! we recommend it for any okcation. Voir le carte

Stayed here whilst up in nearby Scarborough with work a couple of times. The food in the pub is very very good. I had the steak and ale pie last time and it was exceptional. They definitely have somebody who knows what they're doing in the kitchen. Rooms in the nearby cottages are very comfortable too.
